I was lucky enough to come here for my birthday with my son. We both loved the food. The flavors were amazing and so different from normal chinese cuisine. We had 3 starters and they were all lovely. The Korean honey chicken and the stir fried noodles with beef were delicious. There was plenty of food and the staff were very friendly. I was very lucky to meet with Janet as she was very busy. I will certainly be back. Pontypridd is very lucky to have this amazing restaurant.

We went as a family of 6 and ordered a range of menu items, both dim sum and main and there wasn't one thing that wasn't absolutely delicious, this is a very talented chef and to have her in Pontypridd is amazing.

I was very lucky to be invited to the opening evening of this restaurant..The actual owner, Janet, has been serving some wonderful cuisine from China/ Korea, for a while now in the market area of pontypridd.But this is her now taking the next step and opening a restaurant, and from my own observations and the beautiful displays of culinary delights placed before me, Janet and her new venture will without any doubt, be a huge success..The cuisine had the infusion of ingredients, herbs and spices, that left my taste buds having a real blast of flavours and textures..The kitchen area is in full view of customers dinning here.I just hope I can actually book a table in the future so I can enjoy more of this quality, authentic cuisine..Thank you Janet and her small team fir giving us an amazing culinary experience...We'll definitely be returning soon..

Small menus but enough choice overall. If there was just one issue it's that service was slow to start, taking 40 mins to get going but when it did the dishes came swiftly enough & we were clearing them up to make room on the table as next dishes arrived. Didn't count the dishes but we had around 16 altogether, doubling up on some to make sure we had plenty to eat. The sweet & sour pork was my favourite. For 4 of us with soft drinks the bill was just over £144. Will definitely visit again & it was full up right through the evening, so full they ran out of rice right at the end of service.

This lady truly understands the food she cooks.. My wife and I were very lucky to eat at the new restaurant that she has decided to now open.. Uts in the same market area, but actually now in a restaurant setting, rather than how she used to operate in the market.. But without any hesitation, if you are a person who enjoys authentic chinese / korean cuisine, then you will not be disappointed here.. The way that Janet and now her small team make these dishes, which are infused with the right blends of herbs, spices, and vegetables, truly make the cuisine delivered to your table, just a delicious culinary experience.. My wife and I have travelled around the South East Asia regions of the world, and we've been very lucky to enjoy wonderful local cuisines as we've travelled.. Janet's is 100% a restaurant we will be returning to, and we are so looking forward to returning here in due course.. I just hope we can actually book a table when we return because this small unassuming restaurant is fircsure going to be very busy with customers..
