I stumbled across the Veggie Hut whilst having a mooch around Ponty Market and bought two pasties to take out (a Thai curry pasty and a Cornish pasty). We enjoyed them both so will be back for more and can definitely recommend to others. Nice, friendly staff too.Edited now that we’ve been for food at the Veggie Hut to say that we all enjoyed our meal here. My onion bhaji and mango wrap was lovely and the veggie sloppy joe burger with fries was also enjoyed. Well worth the trip to Ponty and we’ll be back again.Kid-friendliness: The staff were so lovely with our two children and others were dining there with children too, so it’s child-friendly.

Hidden Gem! My wife and I have been to the veggie hut now three times, and it’s always fresh and fantastic! I would recommend it to any one. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you Veggie hut for making awesome food!Vegetarian options: Best vegetarian and vegan food for miles around!

I am not even a vegan or a vegetarian but I have stopped for food at this restaurant as I was visiting the market and I was hungry. I went inside without any grea expectations and then I had a look at the menu.Plenty of choices and options and something for everyone.I had a double burger and as a side the spring rolls with hoisin sauce.The portions were huge and like I mean huge and the price is more than fair.The service was impecable and the people serving us could not more to make sure we feel like home. The food was amazing and this is coming from a meat lover. Couldn’t fault anything and for sure we will return.My other half had a pie and that was lovely as wellAnd one more important thing is the coleslaw salad which they make in house.That coleslaw is the best coleslaw we both ever had in our life.Thank you for the amazing food guys!

Found the Veggie Hut today. With my wife we both had a gorgeous meal there. The food was totally fresh and absolutely full of taste. My wife isn't vegan but loved the meal so much that she ordered it twice!! The prices are well below normal vegan prices you'll see elsewhere. The two owners are so kind and helpful, we just want to eat there every day!!! When we visit Pontypridd, the Veggie Hut is absolutely where we'll eat. A huge thank you to our new favourite eating place!

We were lucky enough to stumble upon the Veggie Hut while scouting out the areas we were driving through on a long journey. The staff, food and indoor market that this place is situated we’re just fantastic.So refreshing to find a real community of people all doing such great things.As well as a wide range of food options to eat in and take away they offer refills of many kitchen staples should you need to top up the spice cupboard.Thanks so much for being a great stop on our journey, I really hope we get to come by again some day.

Amazing meal and it was worth the price, it was very filling for a for the amount I paid and best of all it was healthy. The chicken wrap was absolutely amazing, recommended specially the sauce inside. Both the owners were lovely aswell.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian
