After many years of wanting to try these, I stopped by this morning for a nicely warm and warming steak and kidney pie. Witness the ample filling; the pastry is excellently buttery. I also have a cheese rissole for later. Worth the wait, and the stop.

A fantastic local pie and pasty shop that sells great rissolls and Welsh cakes!We stop here if passing for dinner in work or if we go away at the weekends we try and pop in here early afternoon as they close in the afternoons.Staff are great and always do what they can too help... even if I ask for a stone cold Evan's pie but these are freshly made and are beautiful.
Stopped for hot sausage roll.was warmish, stale and rancid. Waste of time and £1.50
Very pleasant and helpful young lady behind counter as ever oval pies were delicious and rissoles also.
This is the place to come for pies /rissoles. Good afordable prices and fantastic quality well worth the visit highly recommended.
