What can i say apart from lovely little jem just of the beaten track. Lovely pub with great food and amazing stuff. Our room was just across the road from the pub that was nice and quiet. Room was great and just right for us.

We went in at noon on a Sunday and it was pretty much empty, we were told all the tables were fully booked as the girl plonked reserved signs on them all and as we were not eating we could only sit at the bar. When we left an hour later all the tables were still empty. It's very much a if you are not eating your are not welcome type place. Dont bother there are friendly places nearby.

The best Sunday dinner I think I have ever had. It was truly delicious and a big portion. Beware the desserts are massive and to die for. Served by a guy from behind the bar who was super friendly and attentive.

Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and beautiful, filling food. Car parking in front of accommodation. Electric chargers just up the road, in a quiet back car park.Rooms: Decor a little tired but beds are comfortable and showers hot. Kettle in rooms and tv.

Stayed for one night, room was fine, nothing special but okay for the price. The restaurant on the other hand... £16 for a burger, onion rings and chips which all tasted like something frozen from a supermarket. There was a leak above our head the whole time, which when we told staff they didnt seem bothered, they didnt even ask if we enjoyed our food or experience.

Went for Sunday lunch . Efficient friendly staff, food really good, meat tender, all trimmings perfectly cooked roast potatoes, mash, veg, gravy.£17.00 average, value for money. Highly recommend.
