We visited on a wet and wild week night in February, without booking. They were very welcoming and we went straight in. The food was *very* well made, and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Breaktimes

Absolutely overwhelmed with this cafe . Totally unnexpected but across the board was really happy. Super clean . Staff really friendly and accomodating . Quick service and cooking . Super affordable . Even the napkins and condiments were of high standard. Repeat customer was made today . Highly reccomend for anyone hungry and hard to please ! You wont regret !

The Colliers Arms Porth

Absolutely love the colliers. Linda the landlady is a diamond. Drinks are cheap and atmosphere is fab. Slush machine wasn't working this week for cocktails but had shots to compensate lol. Gonna try Sunday lunch soon because I've heard good things.

Raj Balti

1st order from these guys, and didn't disappoint. Tasty, full of flavour and nice portion sizes. Really polite guy on the phone when i ordered. Will certainly order again, thank you.

Cymmer Fish Bar

I place an order when I visit my sister and we have no complaints. We have fish and chips but there is usually a meal included for one other. I can't fault the cost going by other fish bars, they're friendly over the phone and whilst delivering our order. We personally couldn't ask for anything

BURGERS AND DREAMS

Had the hunters chicken deliveredast night and it was delicious. Ordered side's of onion rings and garlic mushrooms which were both really good, maybe the mushrooms were a little crispy but that wasnt the end of the world!Delivery charge to ystrad was a bit steep at £6.00 but will definitely be ordering from here again!!

Fabulous Chinese best about I don’t order from anywhere else, noodles are delicious their chicken satay skewers are so nice everything is so fresh 100% recommend

Wow what a place. Staff warm welcoming and accommodating to ourselves the atmosphere was very very vibrant both in the bar and in the restaurant part. The food was absolutely amazing the smash burger was unreal smothered in cheese bacon that pretzel bun elevated it and the chips where fresh and hot unlike another establishment around the corner. The poe of the day lamb and leek pie was absolutely stunning made by the local butchers massive slab creamy mash and fresh veg amazing quality and generous portion sizes at a low cost. Fresh ingredients fresh food cooked heart food. Crumble was amazing too again generous portion size. Will definitely come back if passing through this way thank you again

Good Mood restaurant

The manager made every effort to fit my wife and I in, and boy were we glad! She was upfront and honest about how busy they would be later in the evening and offered us an earlier table which we happily took.
The scenery, the staff, the food and the ambiance was absolutely second to none!!

Caffi Siop Fawr

Lovely store, beautifully restored and amazing choice of kitchen and dinner ware along with other household items, which are hard to find elsewhere. There is a limited range of furniture and accessories on the top floor and a good range of unusual deli type food and drinks.
The café is large, bright and clean. Good range of food and drinks. The staff are very pleasant and the prices are good.
We always have Sunday roast here which is cooked to perfection and one of the best I have had. It's very good value too. Sadly we don't live close enough to visit as often as we would like.

Rheola Hotel

Brilliant experience apart from when i was sniffing tabacco and they had a rant at me even though the old men that are regularly there watching the racing couldn’t keep they’re hands off it ? good guinness and up the snuff

The Bakehouse

I'm not one for leaving reviews normally, but I feel in this case, credit needs to be given where it is definitely due. This local bakery has a varied choice of fresh bread and cakes. The staff are friendly and very accommodating- they provided some super mini scones for a cream tea for me a couple of months ago, so I've just ordered more for my next event. Thanks for keeping a proper bakery alive, and even better that it's in my village!

Kam He

Been going to Kam He for years as I lived in the area. Wouldn't dare to try another Chinese. Moved out the area now to Pontypridd and I still travel up to have a KamHe Chinese. Its absolutely stunning and a good value for money

Oriental House

Tried this for the first time last week and I can say its not a bad Chinese but the poppadoms were damp and stale and the curry sauce was really hot! Wish I knew this as I would have asked for it separately

Red Lion

We were on holiday for a few days in Caernarfon and called in here on new years eve, during the day, on a drive out
We were a bit fed up as we had just broken down and were waiting for the AA.
However, as we walked in our mood was lifted as The Red Lion is one of those ever rarer, proper traditional pubs.
The bar lady was lovely and friendly.
The locals were very welcoming and friendly. There was a lovely real fire blazing away. The beer was spot on and reasonably priced and to top it off it is a dog friendly establishment.
We ended up spending a very pleasant 4 hours there and then got chauffeured home by the AA.
What more can you ask.
We were reminded how much we love Wales and the Welsh people and we are planning a trip back very soon.

Mr Ho

Always avoided to eats here because of low hygiene rating but hygiene the rating has changed 4.So I had a special chow mein with a pancake roll,the chow mein was lovely but the pancake roll was a bit too greasy for my liking. But friendly staff when phone up and when you finished your order they repeat it to make sure they got everything right

Windmill

The two ladies who run the Windmill restaurant are really nice and friendly not only that but also great cooks who know how to deliver a breakfast that was top notch.

Ying Kitchen

Salt and chilli chips are a very generous portion. Also had mixed meat chow mein & rice was all delicious too. Free popadom or can was given to us on collection. All was good and tasty. But no free prawn cracker is disappointing

Station Inn

Made to feel very welcome and both of us looked after really well. Breakfast was fantastic and beer so we'll kept and in great condition. It's a little jewel hidden at the station in Porthmadog. Definitely worth a visit. Don't miss it.

Great value for money, lovely breakfasts. Really friendly behind the scene. Will visit again.

Been coming here for the last two years on recommendation, let’s say we have never been disappointed. We love the food quality and taste and the friendly service where nothing is ever a problem - They know how to look after their customers - Just loves it ?

The Australia

Visited and had a couple of drinks and some chips.

Bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a pint and a half of Dark Side Of The Moose and Mwsh which were both good off the tap.

Asked for chips but the kitchen was closed, however one of the kitchen staff appeared and offered to make them up for us anyway. The chips were excellent and some of the best I've had recently.

Good pub with good beer, good music, and good food. No notes.

Rising Star

Ordered a delivery from here this evening after comparing the price to our usual Chinese. The delivery was quick and on time. It offered good portions for a great price and a great taste. The egg fried rice was great and all of the chicken dishes were lovely.The only negative was the chips, wish they were homemade.
