Absolute class. Homemade carrots and coriander soup followed by a terrific ribeye in a beautiful setting. Will revisit soon, best food I've had in years served by polite,well mannered staff. A jewel in the Crown.
November 27th saturday we were booked in for an evening meal.Then came the storm, Borth y Gest was hit by a long power cut and the Moorings had to cancel.All was not lost, the power came on ,but too late for the evening.So we phoned and got a place for Sunday lunch,and what a lunch.From start to finish the staff were excellent and the food was to dream for.We had a starter and for the main, we both had the Lamb roast,followed by a sweet.To add to the meal we had a glass of New...read full review

I was staying in Borth-y-Gest with my family and booked for the Sunday lunch. It was lovely and the staff were so welcoming! I had the goats cheese salad, beef and sticky toffee pudding- all was amazing! Definitely worth a visit!
