The food was delicious and our waiter, Russell, was amazing and personable. It was a bit later in the evening on a slower night and he made the experience better by chatting with us. Highly recommend. If we're ever back in Porthmadog we'll visit again.

The food here was great. Not the best Indian we have had but best in the area. Service provided by Russell was great, some confusion over the order but quickly rectified. The only thing that let's this place down is the decor. It needs updating. The tables were damaged and wobbly.

A good selection of meals on the menu. Food was excellent with lots of little extras provided. Service from Russell was superb. If you are in or near Porthmadog you must visit this restaurant.

Stayed in Wales for a few days and decided to check out this place. Excellent waiter service provided by Russell. He was very quick and efficient with everything we needed. Very tasty food, one of the best we've ever had actually. Very much enjoyed it, thank you.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Porthmadog. Russell, our waiter was very welcoming and made sure we had a pleasant experience. Loved the curry and mixed starter there. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a delicious Indian meal.

Service was good but the food was awful. We researched where to eat and this had decent reviews- sadly it’s was bad! Cold starters with little taste, tandoori chicken was bland, dry and hard. Dansak the worst I’ve ever had and butter chicken was just plain weird! We ate no mains, paid and left for the chippy over the road!

Thursday evening the 14th of September my husband and I started our holiday in Wales at this little gem of an Indian restaurant and takeaway. This is the third time we have started our holidays to Wales here, the staff Imran and Russell were very attentive and friendly, Imran took the order without a note pad and remembered it spot in well done. Russell was very chatty but not invasive, the food we ordered was freshly cooked and well presented as well as been very tasty, prices are just right I think, the Cobra went down a treat. Overall a great experience and a lovely restaurant definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

We came to Sima Tandoori for a birthday with family and had the best experience. Russel our sever made our night so much better and the service was amazing. Nothing was too much for him and he even got our birthday boy a cake at the end of the night. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Will definitely be coming back!

Nothing was too much trouble, we were very well looked after by Russell. There is an extensive menu, that will suit most palates. The Cobra was cold and refreshing.

Superb! We hadn’t planned to spend the evening in Porthmadog, but the road to Harlech was closed so… we had probably the best Indian meal we’ve ever had! The garlic naan was just perfect, fluffy, soft and fresh, closely followed by the fish jalfrezi and the chicken jalfrezi. Everything was fresh and arrived promptly. Great service by the new-ish waiter who had recently moved to the area and was really friendly and attentive. The owner was also attentive and checked in on us. No need, everything was perfect! Highly recommended!

My wife and I were visiting Porthmadog today and were looking for an Indian Restaurant for an early evening meal. We came across the Sima Tandoori restaurant, it was 27 degrees outside, so we thought a curry was out of the question, but alas we both decided we made the right decision. The restaurant was empty, although the two staff made us feel very welcome and made us feel at home immediately. The waiter Russel made sure we had his full attention, engaging in conversation for a variety of subjects, from food choices, to local location issues and general individual personal history's, be it food or travel, he made our meal experience enjoyable. Well done Russell and thank you!

Been going here for last 10 years. Never had a bad curry ever. Long wait for our meal last time we went but still an amazing curry. This evening was by far best Chicken Madras I've ever had. Thank you. Out of this world by a country mile. John and Marie from Neston staying at GREENACRES

Ordered a takeaway for 2. Nice food, fresh and generous portion . I can recommend the chicken jalfraizi, but if you done like heat ask them to leave out fresh chillies. Keema naan was also good.
