Atmosphere was amazing. The decor is great, even the taps in the bathroom excited me. The staff were really friendly. Only let down was the burger, it was clearly not fresh and one of those extremely cheap ones you'd find in a layby burger van. For £14.95 I would have expected better, maybe they ran out of minced beef and had to dash to a supplier? Can't say much about the chips either, undercooked and possibly left over from a lunch service a few hours earlier. I've spent many years working in restaurant so I know and can taste a few duds ?. Still, it was edible so I suppose that's a good thing! I can't say much for the rest of the food though, maybe it's better.

Friendly pub with moden decor, cosy fire, good food and drinks.Came as a group with babies and toddler and good kids menu (not just the usual fish fingers and chips). Food really nice, toilets clean, great relaxed atmosphere and plenty of room.
Good food, local beer from the brewery nearby, and dog friendly.

Booked a table for 5, first time going there. We chose to dine here because of the purple moose brewery and we weren't disappointed. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food was absolutely fantastic. The pub stools and tables are bespoke and extremely well made. A very very good experience overall, we will definitely be returning.
