A variety of menu choices including for children. The food was really nicely cooked. The portions were more than ample. Nice range of wines and draught beers and ciders. We've been back several times.

OMG.\\nSunday Lunch today fabulous. All fresh veg Cauliflower cheese beautiful the beef to die for and almost half a cow.\\nThe staff very welcoming and piping hot dinner.\\nJust wish I had a sofa to stretch out after ???.\\nTip is book, we seen at the very least 5 groups walk in who were turned away.\\nShame it's too far from Cardiff as would be there next Sunday.

Claire is one of the hardest working front of house/ waitressess I have ever met. She is frenetically busy in these understaffed Covid times and yet she always has a smile (under the mask) and a willingness to make your experience the best possible. The food is excellent, tasty, well cooked and good value. Heartily recommend ?

Wonderful meal. There were 9 of us and between us we had the pie, steak, gammon, fish n chips, roast chicken and burger and every dish was delicious. All freshly home made and lots of it. Also impressed that all 9 dishes came out together and were piping hot. The staff were very friendly and pleasant.\\n\\nA lovely evening had by all.
