Visited this restaurant on Saturday and had a great meal, nicely cooked, prepared and all served in a timely fashion. The bill was very reasonable and the staff were friendly and efficient. Having traveled to SE Asia earlier this year I can say that the food was very authentic. Definitely somewhere to try and enjoy!!

The food here is as good as any Thai food that we have experienced anywhere in the UK, or Thailand for that matter. The owner generally runs the whole place on her own since the passing of her husband so please be patient, it is worth the wait. This is probably the best value for money in the area and in the 10 years we have been eating here we have not had a substandard meal.

They still accommodated us for dinner despite the last minute booking. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Good location.Would’ve preferred flat rice noodles for my pad thai. The veggie starter was okay—I liked the small pancakes(dunno what they’re called). They’re really flavourful. The Pad Ka Praw was also tasty. They haven’t updated the prices on their menu, so expect an additional 20% on the total bill. A bit pricey for Wales, but anyhow, you’ll truly enjoy your meal. Thai food never disappoints x

Decided to visit this restaurant with my wife on an impromptu visit from Cardiff. What a wonderful, tasty meal. Fantastic hostess who not only greets and serves you, but cooks all of the food too. Excellent experience. 10/10, will return.

I’d like to tell you what the food was like however we didn’t get any! Having called ahead to check table availability I didn’t expect to be waiting for food for 1.5hrs!!!! Literally, no communication from waitresses, I had to ask why we were not being served when people who arrived after us had been given their starters. If you are hungry don’t bother. Maybe I should have asked about food availability not table availability. I fully appreciate this was a mid week booking and a table ahead of us was large, but would have been there when I called 10mins before we arrived so they knew their kitchen situation, don’t take bookings you can’t handle and communicate with your guests, if the waitress had apologised for delay, offered us a drink, rather than avoiding our table like the plague it would have helped!
Sorry, but this restaurant needs more stuff and the lovely lady that served us needs a little more customer awareness. We were the only table in the restaurant and arrived for 7 and left around 10, 3 hours for 2 courses?? We love Thai and have eaten all over and this food was OK, starters was a shared platter and we were expecting a little more and not so over cooked. My husband and step Father loved their curries, mine and my mother's was not so great. We had to find her to ask for drinks and the bill, or plates sat with us for ages! We were aware that 2 telephone orders came in but when she was sort out she was standing in the kitchen. We've been before, a few years ago, and sadly it was the same, but there was another waitress on shift. Sadly we won't be returning.

Definitely gone down hill over time. The venue itself is quite nice but bordering on the edge of not so warm The food was passable but nothing to write home about but the biggest let down was the service. We were the only people in all night and a table of four isn’t that outstanding, We were there for three hours. If we hadn’t kept calling the cook/waiter/bar staff for attention ie, drinks, order, more drinks and bill, we could have still been there. Won’t be going back. Shame really.

We booked this small Thai restaurant for our motorcycle tour group of 8, and had a simply wonderful meal. OK, the service was a little slow as there appeared to be just one Thai woman doing everything - taking orders, serving drinks, serving food and even cooking the dishes, but the food was very good. So good we're hoping to return again in 2023!

Came here on holiday last month after staying in the holiday cottage opposite. Having never tried Thai food before I didn't know what to expect but it was beautiful. The whiskey chicken was beautiful!! The pad Thai and honey duck was also lovely. Coconut rice was amazing and so was the sticky rice. Coconut ice cream for afters with pancakes was lovely as was the fruit salad. If you are ever in the area I'd definitely highly recommend it. Hopefully will be back.We were the only ones there that evening but that was good because we got the food quickly because of it. Would've been nicer had there been a few more in but it was a Thursday night in September so out of the main holiday season so to be expected I suppose as it is a small village.
