Just bought s/batter and sausage and chips, let me just say that the chops went into the bin, they were dry hard and stale. The guy who was serving is what can I say, rude is not the word, neither and please or a thankyou. Also prices have rocketed, far more than other outlets selling the same products. Rip off.

This has really gone downhill fast since they took over from John's It used to be fast and efficient The last time will be the last time for me One takes the order another prepares and yet another gives The communication was zero It's not just an isolated experience While I was waiting the hired staff could not make a simple calculation with the change for a young boy who came in for one bag if chips I specifically stated no cheese on my burger As My partner is lactose intolerant to the point if going into anaphalactic shock and using an epi pen Not only did I receive cheese the man offered to remove it with his bare fingers Unbelievable I'm still fuming Basic food hygiene but added insult to injury Total fawlty towers The owner offered to reimburse me but the damage is done now I won't be coming back I urge others not to go either He is responsible because he has hired incompetent staff or family members It spoilt our evening

My friends Son just came down to get food and as they were in a rush to close think that it is acceptable to serve to customers!!Undercooked sausage!!Beyond a joke.

I asked to have a sausage and chips meal and I asked for no salt and I was given salt and vinegar, but the problem is I’m allergic to vinegar. They got my order wrong twice.

The fish here was very nice and the sausage in batter was good too. The chips were great and it scored better than irene's in barry for quality and taste. Prices were reasonable.

Good chips but I wish it wouldn’t smell like BO. There was one guy there and he smelt the entire shop out. He was lovely bless him but it did smell

This says a lot!! One star and that is just because they were open!Firstly had to make a minimum purchase of £5 if paying by card which is ridiculous and robbery! I'm a pensioner and this was extreme!Secondly ordered a pastie and chips (was forced to add a fish cake to bring the price up to £5) which I did not even want! When I opened the wrapping up it was to find the Pastie like a brick and totally inedible and the chips were stale and hard! I will definitely not go there again and warn other people of the poor quality!!

Great food overall and great service. Would have been a 5 but recently fish bites have gone seriously downhill and are virtually inedible now. Shame as they used to be great. Everything else is spot on.
