Yeah foods ok , probably better the earlier on you go as I think I got the end of evening chips, still nice though ! , gravey is good , staff are friendly reasonably priced ?.... would i go back ?? Absolutely ! ?

Drive past the other chippies and head for Ffrith & Chips! We did and were not disappointed. The food was great - delicious fish with crispy batter, and great chips. Tanya and Esther are amazing! Not had such good service for a long time. We chose a haddock and a cod and said we'd share, so they divided our large portion of chips (freshly cooked) into two boxes and put half of each fish in each box. Tartare sauce and forks were wrapped up and included and even some kitchen roll. Going above and beyond, they were even able to direct us to the best place to eat out meal overlooking the sea! Thoroughly recommend! Btw, they use cardboard boxes too, not polystyrene. ?

Great chippy but the younger staff need to be taught. Barely any chips and unwrapped food whenever a younger staff member serves me.

Have used this chippy whilst Nigel owned it and the Scottish family before him always good food and value, however visited 5/9/23 and had possibly the worst chips ever dry and hard , and obviously reheated , fish was miniscule and hid in batter not worth the trouble of going back with them even though I live local . Exceptionally rare I complain but this needs addressing if you pay good money for terrible food , in future a drive into town will solve the problem.

Worst fish and chips ever had. Chips were flat cardboard. Fish if you could see any in the chewy batter was dry. Asked for mushy peas and gave us gravy. Never again.

Sent my son for chips and cannot believe how much he was charged for 2 bags of chips 6.80 I know the cost of living but this is terrible and they were dry. Will keep to crispy cod from now on.

We always visit here when we are down at are caravan never had a problem with the usual staff Esther and Tanya who are a great addition to this chippy , we came here about 2 weeks ago when Tanya and Esther where not working on this night, the food and the attitude of the staff was terrible so bad that I came back and returned the food and requested my money back
Terrible food,we visited on Wednesday evening for food,the chips were disgusting not cooked but raw potatoes,fed the seagulls with the food they flew off in disgust,will not get food again from this chippy when stopping at ffrith touring park

Visited last year and food was excellent. Went back on Saturday 29th July 2023 and the food was mediocre at best. I wasn’t convinced the order had been taken correctly and double checked it with the lady who took the full order. Whilst we were waiting 2 other people returned with orders with missing items. When our order was ready for collection I questioned the order again and a fish cake and small portion of chips had not been bagged, these were then added. I asked what had been bagged and was assured the full order was correct. When we got back to our lodge it was found that a large chips and a carton of peas which we were charged for was missing and had not been packed.

Terrible chippy did use to be a lovley chippy when the Scottish lady had it. Now the chips are always yesterdays recooked service is very slow and it's very pricey
