Lovely B&B in a great location right in the heart of the village, there is loads of space around the back to park (we were on our motorcycles and had the luxury of parking underneath a car port). Steve, the owner, is a top guy and can't do enough for you. The breakfast was lovely (full cooked) and it felt like home from home. Highly recommend as a base to explore Wales.Nearby activities: Outdoor pursuits heaven !Food & drinks: Top breakfast

Very easy to get to. Excellent breakfast and the host is lovely, and really does go above and beyond for his customers. Rooms are querky, but very clean and tidy.

Awesome Service & Wonderful Atmosphere in the Grade 2 Listed Historic House in the Centre of Rhayader! The breakfast is no less than outstanding whilst the large landscaped gardens are brilliant for quiet strolls & relaxation! We stayed in the large historical bedroom with Four-Poster Bed & well equipped private bath suite. The room was also decorated with some beautiful antiques! Thanks to Host Steve for his sensitive support at all times! Recommended! 5/5 !

Super friendly guest house. In the perfect spot in town with parking/bike storage. Breakfast was really tasty with a good choice for the full (welsh) Breakfast. Will be returning as the whole town was really friendly. If going at busy times, suggest you pre-book your table in the local pubs/hotels.

Only stayed for one night but couldn’t fault it. The location was good, Steve is the nicest man you could meet and the accommodation has been well thought out and looked after with loving care.Didn’t get the cooks name but I had the best full English breakfast ever. Give it a try ?

Gweli & Brekwast: A wonderful location from which to explore the Elan Valley Lakes, historic sites of Cistercian life at Strata Florida and Abby Cwm Hir. Many nature reserves, and sanctuaries. Aberystwyth and to Knighton, Offa's Dyke. Devils Bridge and of course Rhyader.Penrally House is a great place to stay, lovely scenery and exceptional breakfast, from local produce including their very own chickens

Beautiful building, the views from garden are stunning. The sun was shining. All the rooms are lovely and luxurious (we got a private tour). Steve is the host with the most and Jill's breakfasts are the best. This is the first time we have stayed here and visited Rhayader. Stunning place.
