First things first: you have to order at the bar.And then the magic begins: the little helpers in the kitchen do their job brilliantly: Lamb and mint pie, delicious. Cottage pie, delightful.If you are ever in Rhayader, you should definitely go there.

It has a vegetarian menu. Brilliant. Probably the first pub in town to do so. Huge portions, friendly staff and great beer. All at a very good price.What more could you ask for in Rhayader?Vegetarian options: The vegetarian lasagne was tasty and the vegetables were not overcooked, so did have texture and taste. The vegetarian menu also included burger and curry options.

Did not eat here but a friendly local pub very cheap drinks our round £6.20 the same at home is £9.40 chatty locals made it a pleasant experience
