Called in today and bought some filled rolls, quiche and cherry Bakewell. They were absolutely superb.

We have been in the town for only two weeks but have already been to Wild Swan several times. The coffee is amazing and good value. The bread is delicious as are the home made cakes and quiches. If you haven't been then you have missed out. Go on and try it out.

Delightful little shop with a good variety of stock. The quiches are gorgeous and are ideal for a quick lunch. Sheila, the owner, was welcoming and friendly. 10/10!!

Can't understand the reasoning for the negative reviews at all! Plenty to browse at, local honeys and preserves etc I got some chocolate for my nan, an absolutely delicious quiche and a cake for my journey all well priced. The lady had a natter with us and was lovely! ❤️

I have no idea what the previous (negative) reviews were talking about. The shop is wonderful: great food and a super helpful person running the shop. We’ve gone in each morning to get a nice lunch to take hiking. Highly recommended!!

We were drawn in by the chalkboards in the window promising hot drinks and cakes for the family, but were brusquely told there were no cups for our coffee. They didn't seem to be leaping at the chance to sell us their cakes either, or anything else for that matter. We left empty handed, with the impression that this is a local shop, for local people.

Not gluten free friendly! I have never found this a welcoming place, but went in to buy some gluten free soy sauce only to be told that they no longer stocked this as gluten free products were too expensive! What a poor excuse. Those of us who are gluten intolerant are used to paying over the odds for products, we have no choice but to pay the prices asked. The excuse of gluten free products being too expensive is therefore totally invalid, we have to buy them anyway! There are other wholefood stores not too far away who are happy to carry a good range of products for those with specific dietary needs or preferences. Avoid this place if you are coeliac. Avoid it if you expect courteous service.

Called in for a bite to eat. Serving lady unfriendly to point of hostility and food okay but poor for price. Take your custom elsewhere as does not appear to be appreciated here!
