Never been to Les & Rita's before. Wanted to give it a try on a rainy day. My partner orders at the counter (didn't know we were meant to sit down first). I take our baby to find somewhere to sit. It wasn't until they were preparing the food that one of the staff members rudely asked why I was sat down. Told me that we had to pay more to sit in. I appreciate it costs more to sit in, it could have been explained in a nicer way. The lady who took our order could have asked as she saw me go to find a table. We ended up leaving and eating in the car, as I didn't feel welcome at all. The way the waitress went about it, was honestly quite rude. We were new, didn't know we ordered wrong. Seems like only the regulars are welcome.

I researched restaurants in the area prior to a vacation at the nearby haven site and Les and Rita's was recommended and boy are we glad we visited. From outside it looks like any other chip shop, within to the right is the take away counter and pay station, to the left and rear is ample seating so on this occasion we decided to eat in.Your order is taken at your table from a friendly waitress, ours being Sarah and drinks if ordered are brought out before your meal.Meals arrive promptly on proper plates with clean metal cutlery and salt and vinegar are already provided. On to the food, AMAZING! the fish was beautifully white, skin and bone free with tasty fresh batter, the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and the peas were as you would expect, the kids had sausage and both said it was very tasty, one had gravy which was lovely and rich and not watery at all.Tea was included in the fish meals and was also nice and the kids had a can of Dr pepper which was extra but not too overpriced.Price wise it was fantastic, by far the most value for money meal we've had all week, less than £30 for four to eat with drinks in this high cost of living climate felt like they were doing us a favour, and for that I THANK YOU.I would thoroughly recommend Les and Rita's if in the area, I am unaware if there is parking nearby, customers using the takeaway parked out front but it is on a busy road so it may be worth researching if you require parking. There are toilets for customers at the rear and my wife actually commented saying how clean and spacious they were which is a huge positive and adds to the overall great score we give Les and Rita's, in fact we're going back again in a few days time.

Wanted a little place to sit and rest are wary feet and tuck into something nice. This little place definitely ticked that box.Staff very nice & professional, place very clean, food,we had large fish dinner and a pot of tea for two.(ask and it comes with a pot of boiled water,to top up, the tea bags strong enough for a second pot.) Good stuff. Dinner spot on ,we asked for 2 slices of bread and found hard to finish everything.Looking forward to taking are friends next time in town. Well done Les & Rita's Fish Bar.Parking outside in the street if you have a blue badge, other parking no more than 50 yards away. Check the route to that car park.

Had fish & chip specials here twice as we're stopping in Rhyl and read reviews. Superb food & great value for money. We ate on the premises which was spotlessly clean. I'd happily recommend .

Went on Thursday evening and managed to get a parking space outside . There was a lot of people waiting outside but the queue went down very quickly. We would have sat inside but we were to late as they close at 7 .There staff were all very friendly and the place was spotless. The fish and chips were second to none and were a very reasonable price . Well worth the drive from rhos on sea . Would make this my go to chippy

This is a proper old school chippy with fast no-nonsense service, excellent food and keep prices. Highly recommended!

After seeing this chippy making a list giving it the title of 2nd best chippy in the country, we had to try whilst staying in Rhyl. So when passing through the town centre on our way back from a day trip to Llandudno we stopped off for dinner later afternoon. From the outside (and the inside really), it doesn't look like much. Just your usual chippy but with inside seating. It was quiet when we arrived with plenty of free tables and we were greeted by friendly staff almost immediately. The menu is fairly small however has the staples and it seemed like items were made to order as nothing was sat under the heat lamps. My partner went for fish, chips and mushy peas whilst I had fishcake and chips. After a short wait our food was delivered to our table, portion sizes were decent and it was a genuinely really nice meal. The chips were lovely, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. We both enjoyed our fish and my partner commented on how nice the batter was. It was really good value too, we paid about £14 for two filling meals and drinks each. I only wish this chippy was closer so I could visit again! If you're planning on fish and chips in Rhyl then you really do have to come here.

Have been going here for a meal for years. Normally 10 out of 10.But somehow it tasted 20 out of 10.this year. Most definatly would recommend every timeParking: Small car park but would be enough roughly about 40 to 50 cars

I recently went to Les and Rita's for a family dinner while on holiday. Although the food is enjoyable, I personally found the price of the food a bit over priced. The staff are friendly. Personally I found the wait for fast food was a bit too long and the range of choices pretty low. Just fish, chips, burger, nuggets and pies. That being said, I would say as a one off I would recommend Les and Rita's.

Extremely busy with the queue out the door! Staff were friendly and efficient. Even though the cafe part was closed they let us pop to the toilet whilst we waited for our food. Delicious (cooked to order) fish and chips.
