We stopped in after a lovely walk around Clocaenog Forest with our dog.We had such a lovely warm welcome from the lady behind the bar.We were so pleased they could fit us in for food even though we hadn't booked.The food was absolutely amazing, we had starters and mains and they were all delicious.A wonderful place, with wonderful staff and food.

We went to the monthly quiz , my husband is vegan, knowing the wonderful culinary skills of the chef , I asked if he could do a vegan sharing platter, He did not disappoint , thankyou so much Ryan it was amazing.

Parking available, and we had a lovely welcome from the friendly staff. There was a nice atmosphere. The menu was fine and we both enjoyed our meals , both mains and deserts, ice cream exceptional Nice cider too. Good toilet facilities. Very reasonable price. They weren’t open for food every day others would score 5/5

Great lunch. Great friendly staff. We were visiting from New Zealand and had a family reunion. The pub is run by the community and was a credit to them. Highly recommend. Food was excellent and good value.

This was our second visit this week! The first was to watch the football in the bar area, we had lunch and a few drinks, everyone was so friendly. Today we came back for an epic roast dinner… the food was fantastic and everyone was super friendly, really great atmosphere.

Food was all homemade and absolutely banging ! Lovely community run pub, nothing too much trouble and was made to feel very welcome. We were a group of 15 and food was piping hot and service was really quick . If you are passing through or fancy a bit of a change from your local give it a try you won't be disappointed ! 5 star ?

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant. The burger I ordered delicious and had also lovely toppings. What truly made the evening special was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The warm atmosphere and excellent service created a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. I can't wait to visit again

I visited for dinner this evening and everything was out of this world I mean brilliant. The steak and ale was amazing very tasty and can tell was fresh and homemade. Also we had the soup of the day and the chicken liver pate which was also incredible all round very well priced and leaving very satisfied. Would definitely suggest the glan llyn
