Not the best pub in Ruthin unfortunately. Ok to go for a drink and had music so you could have a dance. Pretty empty and the atmosphere was of somewhere that isn't the place to go. The toilets here are disgusting and the place doesn't feel like it's been cleaned in a long time. Not bad to call in for a quick drink, but not a pub near the top of my go to list when out. Staff were nice enough but that was one of the few positives.

The Corporation Arms, on Castle Street off St Peter's Square, Ruthin, has been a regular stopping point for weekend partiers who frequent "the top of town". The "Corpie" persists with other pubs like The Wine Vaults, Boar's Head, as predominantly "drinking" bars on St Peter's Square while other pubs like the former Castle (now Wetherspoons) have resorted to new business models to persist in an ever increasingly difficult market. While pubs away from St Peter's Square have withered - The Anchor, The Eagles, and others to name a few in Ruthin's rich history of pubs, The Feathers, Park Place and the Farmers Arms manage to provide enough choice to continue to bring people in from surrounding areas.
