Real traditional local pub, doesn't pretend to be anything but what it is. Good choice on food, daily specials.....wonderful staff.

We’ve been quite a few times now and tried many meals. So thought it was only fare to do a review. You will never leave this place hungry or unsatisfied. So much care goes into the prep if each meal. The Sunday lunch ? so tasty and obviously great produce too. My favourite has to be their beef burger though. Wow absolutely lovely. The staff are always friendly and it’s always nice to see a boss get stuck in. The lady is beyond helpful, friendly and seems to look after her staff very well. See you again soon.

We found the Leyland Arms after a quick online search as we were looking for good place for Sunday dinner. Well so glad we gave it ago.Walking into a country pub feeling like we may be the out of town visitors that stood out. We need not have feared. We were greeted by two young ladies who welcomed us in and checked the best place for a table for us. Soon sorted out our drinks and food menu. When the meals came we were not disaappointed but left very satisfied with what was a fabulous feed.Worth stopping by if you are near and fancy a good feed.Highly recommended

This is a very lovely pub with fires in both rooms. The girls who served us were very friendly and the food was really good with large portions. But sadly they didn't have any gf bread which they said they did , so I couldnt haven't any of the starters I wanted which was all I wanted to eat. Also we were charged £2.50 for a hot water with lemon which I felt was very steep (which I have never bn charged for be4 anywhere else). Its a shame as we had to argue to take this off the bill and the attitude we got from the manger was shocking. Its really sad as I would recommend this place on lots of levels but because of having to argue about the lemon which was very short sighted of her as we definitely would have gone back and as my friend lives close she would of gone back too. If money is an issue I suggested charging for the cauliflower cheese as this is an added bonus people would pay extra for. I wish you well but dropping the attitude will help alot with your customer facing business.

Stayed here with my sister for five nights. Accommodation delightful and what a setting, just stunning. We could be self contained but with the excellent pub food and company why would you.Jan and Rob both so very welcoming and attentive. An absolute gem of a find.It was central to so many activitiesIf I make it back to UK again soon will definitely visit again.Thank you all for a superb trip and grand memories.

I came here yesterday with my family AND today and the service was absolutely amazing. The food was absolutely amazing and the owner took the time out to introduce herself and check us regularly. We felt so comfortable here. The prawn starter, never have I tasted anything so delicious, the seabass main, beautifully seasoned and the potatoes perfectly cooked. Thank you for having us we will be back.

Came on the recommendation from my sister, I'd already booked ! Food great , toilets (ladies) seemed under construction, nice food lovely waitresses I don't know about the veiw from the window a pile of bricks & wood like a building site,, this pub is an absolute beautiful building I sincerely hope they get all the construction finished & it' looks as good it deserves being beautiful it could be an absolute gold mine when complete as the food is fab it just needs finishing the decor & outer areas,, I'd definitely recommend & will return to see it completed hopefully it's in a stunning location & has potential to be gorgeous with a litte aesthetics here & there x

Wow wow wow. So we stopped off here on a whim because we found it on Google maps on the way back from our visit to Colwyn Bay. The food was just amazing and the service...incredible. Myself, my partner, our 2 year old and 2 rottweilers were welcomed with smiles and couldn't have felt more at home. The place is gorgeous and we hope that one day we can return to this little gem of a pub. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful family memory.
