“I love this place. Incredible staff, great drinks and beautiful sausage rolls all year round. However, I have noticed a 'new policy' that has arisen that I find quite unreasonable to say the least. Earlier today (a very hot day mind you) I came back from school feeling dehydrated and ill with nothing but my bus fare, and asked for a simple cup of tap water. The cup of water was poured, I almost had it when suddenly one of your workers told me that they were not allowed to give tap water to customers anymore. I do not blame your staff in any way, but that water and cup are now wasted, at that point is it really so bad for me to have the drink? A polite 12yo being refused a cup of tap water on a hot day does not make any sense to me. I understand manager's discretion, but maybe some common sense is necessary.”
