The staff were extremely friendly and the food was amazing. The platter for 2 was delicious and more then enough for 2, we had leftovers. The staff were so kind to even offer us free lentil soup (which was delicious) and sent us away with a piece of Baklawa each free. The hospitality was amazing and we will be coming back here with future trips through Swansea ❤️

Without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in Swansea. The food is consistently excellent, full of authentic flavour, and clearly made with real care and tradition. Service is warm, friendly, and genuinely Italian in spirit, which makes every visit feel special.
It’s proper Italian cooking, not places that try to look Italian but miss the authenticity. Vesuvio’s is the real deal and always our first choice. Hands down the best in town.

A nice pub atmosphere to enjoy lovely lunch . The Sirloin steak was very flavoursome and perfectly cooked, the triple cooked chips , onion rings and pepper sauce were all delicious . The Sticky toffee pudding Christmas style was fantastic. Accompanied by a bottle of white wine at a reasonable price.
I look forward to returning soon to have the small plates which offer an excellent choice of items to try.

They made 140 scones with jam and cream (even sourced raspberry jam specifically at our request!). Would just like to say how amazing one of your colleagues was tonight. My partner was unwell and had to go the bathroom. Your member of staff Emsie was so helpful watching our belongings and making sure my partner was ok, bringing her water and asking was medical assistance required. She even brought us fresh food as it had t been touched. In a day of where people cannot be bothered it’s a breath of fresh air to see someone who is caring and looking after customers. Esmie is obviously a valid member of your team and we cannot thank her enough, she is a credit to Founders and Co and I hope you appreciate her as much as we do.

What a suberb meal, we had Sunday lunch here. There we 9 of us and we had a great range to choose from so we were all catered for even the vegetarian. The portions were huge but impotantly they were served piping hot. Great carparking here with easy access to the motorway. The pub has been recently decorated and upgraded so the decor was modern and airy. What a wonderful host who came to each table to welcome us. If there was a star missing it was a service hiccup, not enough to detract from our visit but perhaps a littke more traing needed for thecyoung servers.

What a great restaurant! I didn't know what to expect when I arrived but so pleasantly surprised. Maggie is a wonderful hostess - warm, friendly and attentive. Service was attentive. No issues with bringing a birthday cake. Lovely atmosphere indoors. Outdoors also lovely with tables near the parrots. Zoo a great addition. Small park nearby too. Parking somewhat small for size of pub but extra parking available at next turn and at nearby hotel. Bar some slightly over-peppery Swede and needing a few more parsnips, we really enjoyed. Would gladly come again.

Happily chanced on this very busy little eatery. Really tasty and refreshing take on the typical UK brekkie. Assorted menu catering to all diets. And.. all locally sourced ingredients. Very well priced for awesome food. Great cappuccino too! Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. Nice and clean.
It would be hard to be disappointed here, as long as you don't mind a short possible wait.
If we're ever in Wales again we'll be baaaack!

We had stunning starters ,main and dessert!

This is the best restaurant in Swansea. Authentic and delicious French food at it's best -- not fussy, not pretentious, but down-to-earth, accessible, rich, and made with love. I had the couscous royale, which I recommend heartily. It made me think of the first time I had couscous twenty years ago during a semester abroad in France. The couscous royale at Pant y Gwydr is the first dish that's ever matched it. Nearly brought tears to my eyes.

BUT 4 of the best beers were not available..no Butty Bach?
My burger was fine but the bland hake served with wall paper paste?? Baby potatoes are NOT new potatoes....not cooked either way.

The Railway Inn

This is a real old fashioned pub. Nothing fancy, just a good atmosphere and drinks. They also have a small coffee machine so can fix a cappuccino. There are 3 rooms inside, very rough and ready but seems to be the charm. There is a marquee outside with seating and occasionally in the summer they have live music. The pub sits next to good walks so attracts walkers too. A nice pint of cider is perfect after a long walk. Dogs are welcome too.

Stopped by on Saturday morning for breakfast. So glad we did!! Greeted with a warm welcome, gave us time to look at the menu, and then took our order.
We ordered 2 full breakfasts. £8.50 each and well worth it! Bacon, sausages, hash brown, black pudding, fried eggs, beans, and toast were cooked beautifully! Bacon was so tasty!! Decent cup of coffee, too!! Toilet was clean. Plenty of room to park.
We will 100% be calling back here! Already told family and friends about it!!

Popped in for a light breakfast this morning with my baby grandson and so glad that we did! The staff were lovely so helpful, welcoming and friendly . They helped me with the pram and then produced the cleanest high chair that I have ever seen outside of my own home!
They even gave the baby a small complimentary bowl of beans and some cucumber which he loved. Nothing was too much trouble.
My food was very tasty and the coffee was excellent . We will definitely be back. Thank you for such wonderful service.

I’ve eaten a few times here. It’s got to be one of the best places in South Wales. First of all the owner Amir is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. All his staff are lovely too and well trained. I’ve had both cod and chips and hake and chips. I’ve eaten in a lot of fish and chip
Restaurants but I have to say this is one of the best not just in South Wales but in the entire UK. Hiks fish and chips are perfect.
A choice of curry sauces. I’ve tried all of them and they’re delicious. The chips are perfect too. The batter is bang on! I’ve not tried them but I saw some breakfasts come out and they looked awesome. The restaurant is decorated beautifully too. Amir showed me the accommodation upstairs which is absolutely gorgeous and the prices were incredible value for money. I love this place and will ? be back. Thank Amir and your fantastic team for making me feel so welcome and for the best fish and chips!!!
