Really nice place with a great view. Friendly staff and the Steak and Ale pie was really good. For £6.8 you get a little coleslaw and mixed leave salad with balsamic vinegar and a portion of Doritos. An extra portion of chips will cost £2. That’s a good and tasty deal. Highly recommend.

This may just be the best dining experience I have had in a long time, offering both great food to the service.This small restaurant is just a hidden gem, tucked away in the back street of Sketty.As soon as we entered the building, we were greeted by the chefs. Which was such a pleasure, which made us feel very welcome and set the evening up nicely.Service was impeccable, with 1 really friendly hostess who knew everything about the dishes and really looked after us throughout the night, and as the restaurant only has 5 to 6 tables, the need for another waitress is redundant and would take away from the experience the 1 hostess brings.It took us about 2.5 hours for the 6 course taster menu and honestly it was nice not to feel rushed for once in a restaurant, as I feel lately most restaurants just want you out as soon as you sit down ... I have seen some reviews saying 2.5 hours is a long time, however I think it is the perfect amount of time for an evening meal, no matter how many courses ... and when the food being served is so technical and not packeted portions like other popular and favoured restaurants around, waiting a little longer is really not something you should be moaning about.On a more merry note, the food was well presented and simply tasted out of this world with so many different textures and flavours. You could see how much passion and effort has been put into each dish and can easily see why this restaurant has achieved a Michelin Star!Lastly, we have to mention the price and ask the question: Is it worth it? ... Oh yes, most definitely, and I know for a fact I will be returning. Thank you Slice for such a lovely evening!Parking: Found a little difficult to park, but after 6.00pm, most of the street parking is unrestricted.There used to be a large car park close by. However, this has now been taken over by construction and can no longer use it.

Very good selection of food at reasonable prices. Good quality and generous portions. Plenty of drink choices. Very attentive staff. Great setting and catered for a large party extremely efficiently. Have already planned a return visit. Would recommend.Singer started about 8.30pm on the Friday night but because of prearranged plans couldn't stay but definitely would take advantage of the entertainment on our next visit.

I visited as a part of a large work event. It was midweek, and the restaurant opened specially for us. The atmosphere was good, even though half the restaurant was closed off, so I imagine on a busy night it would be even better. The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu had a wide range, with plenty of vegan and vegetarian dishes. There was also a large wine list, which some of my colleagues took full advantage of. The food was excellent; a Tarte Tatin de Canard starter, with Vegan Couscous as a main. Several people in our group had dessert, which looked amazing. Nothing on the menu was cheap, and expect to spend at least £50-£60 per head for three courses and drinks. All in all, I would highly recommend a visit.Vegetarian options: There is a large selection of vegetarian and vegan options. I am not a vegan/vegetarian myself, but did choose a vegan main dish, and it was excellent.

My son is vegetarian and his option was also excellent. The service was professional and thoughtful. I haven't been to this venue for several years...and I don't know why. I'll certainly be back soon.!!Kid-friendliness: My son-in-lawwas advised that he could take his daughter to the ladies toilet as there was no-one in there. Our little slice of heaven! I would follow this team to the end of the world if it meant we got to enjoy their cooking again. The food is tasty and we have sampled the mixed grill, the chicken, burgers most desserts. The drinks range is a visual joy anything that tickles your fancy they have.
