“From 40 years of curry houses,this has got to be the finest Indian food we have ever had...they are dog friendly..our doggy adores indian food,especially chicken tikka,and helped me devour a plate of the finest Chicken Tikka..ever..ever!..My partner had the Old Dehli Butter Chicken which was the most beautiful dish!!..The loveliest mood lighting,which makes the place even more appealing and romantic...service was impeccable,even for our doggy..'abhi' was the most adorable ,accommodating servicer we have ever encountered ,he has gone above and beyond our expectations..in fact all of the support staff did!!!...please,please,please if you are in Mumbles you must come to this place...in fact we would travel 2 and a half hours just for the curry and service!! its Above and Beyond!! “We called in for food yesterday and it was absolutely outstanding. The sautéed potatoes were the best I’ve had anywhere and the garlic sauce on the salmon and prawn dish was incredible. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too. We’ll definitely be back.”

“We had the best meal at Akbaar’Z recently. We went as a family of 7 and each meal was just perfect. Great portions and presented beautifully. Popadoms, chutney trays, various rices, curries and breads all just delicious! Super friendly and helpful staff too. Can’t wait to go back to try the set menu ?. “Went on a Sunday when you can get a starter, main and side for like £12 or something which is crazy?! The food was actually really good too! It was really quiet so no complaints about wait or service.

Only negative is the place has absolutely no atmosphere, vibe or aesthetic. Like, it wouldn't take much to put some pictures up on walls or basic decor??”
