Heating was hit and miss and there has been scaffolding on this building for over 3 years we had bad rain and all you could here was dripping water from outside hitting plastic ? ? , when is the scaffolding gonna be removed , is there something wrong with the building ?

The scaffolding has been up around this building since before covid and it makes it a real eyesore. The worst part is, I have never seen any workmen there doing repairs so God only knows why it's still there. It's a shame because it's in a beautiful location and the staff are really friendly and welcoming and the food is good.Get rid of the scaffolding, it must have cost you a fortune already and it's an eyesore for us local residents.

Lovely comfy stay. Room was of the usual premier inn high standard. The only downside was the draught coming through the window which didnt close properly. There was scaffolding around the building so I presume the windows will be replaced at some point. The scaffolding didn't obstruct the view of the dock below and beyond. We didn't have breakfast but had lunch in the on site Beefeater, very good value, lunch deal 2 courses for £10.95. Food was good too!

This is our 3rd visit to this hotel.Always a very friendly welcome, staff are what makes this hotel so special.Excellent breakfast menu, and good evening meal choices.Waiting staff are brilliant, especially Katie, nothing is to much trouble.Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast menu, and good choice of evening meals.

First floor reception was a plus for me.You have to request for your room to be serviced, which is a great idea.Great location in my opinion nice walk to city centre.Only negative was lack of view due to renovation work (can't be helped)

We arrived earlier than planned but Andrea on reception was very friendly and could not have been more helpful. You have to pay an extra £10 but well worth it. The car park was very close but another review recommended coins for the ticket machine which was spot on due to the temperamental app. There is a Tesco express next to the hotel in case you need anything extra. The room was very clean and came with tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was powerful enough and the water as hot as you'd like it. Breakfast was first class with so much choice to cover everyone's needs, the fry up was excellent. We will be back!!

As my work takes me all over the country, I live in Premier Inn, so one would assume I’d be a ‘valued’ customer. But then, to check in an hour early I have to pay a fee to check in early! On top of that, the entrance to the building is filthy. They could do better.

Typical premier inn, only downside is the building is covered in scaffolding at the moment and guests have to pay for parking, which seems a bit strange to me (after paying for the room, I'd expect it to come with parking). Didn't have breakfast so can't say what that's like, but it's expensive (£10). Really nice view of the river though! If it weren't for the scaffolding the view would have been lovely!Rooms: Rooms equipped with hair con. Bathroom has fragrance soap in the shower/ sink areas. Toilet paper is cheap/ not good. Tiny tvs but good enough for business trips.Walkability: Relatively close proximity to restaurants etc (about 10/15 mins walk), which means it's quiet at night!

Good, clean rooms with Airco.Superb breakfasts!Odd service desk.Friendly Personal.A bit isolated from civilization and it was under construction while we where there, but could be a great spot because it is at the waterfront and just a 15 min walk (and a nice one of you cross the bridge) from the city Centre.

Outside of hotel swathed in tatty sheeting and has been for over 2 years according to staff (so no views and windows don't open) This is not obvious from booking site which shows a much nicer aspect than you'll get. It looks like a building site. It is obvious there are serious ongoing issues with the building so don't expect the usual decent standard of other Premier Inns. Other reviews say the same and we wish we'd read them before booking. Car park expensive and only bookable on app so hope for good signal! In addition to these issues and more seriously when we were there a major flood from the top floor meant we received a call asking permission to move our belongings down 2 floors while we were out for the day. The same morning our shower would not turn off either so we left the room like a sauna with the shower still on, reported it and left for the day. It may be that the staff were dealing with the flood, although we were told this started later in the day, but according to guest relations there was no record of the complaint and it was strongly implied that we were lying about having made one. That's just offensive and insulting. After the flood we were not offered relocation which some other guests were and as we had visits arranged in the area for 4 days we were stuck there. The corridors became revolting, smelt of dirty wet carpet and ceilings water damaged. We logged another complaint and were told we would receive a full refund. That's where the fun started. Premier Inn guest relations have been appalling. Their 'good night sleep' guarantee is meaningless. Our complaint was serious, not just a matter of a poor nights sleep or hard pillows! We had concerns about health and safety and asked whether a risk assessment had been done. We were told this was an internal matter and not for disclosure. We were refunded for the cheapest night of our stay but the complaints department refused to negotiate further telling us that no further contact would be responded to. This is just unbelievable, unacceptable and no way to treat customers. We will be escalating the complaint. We're not fusspots by any means and have stayed at plenty of Premier Inns elsewhere which have been fine. Never felt the need to give such a harsh review before but honestly, book anywhere else if you want a nice environment!

We had a better impression of Swansea than expected.thanks to the pleasant situation of this comfortable hotel, which really did front onto water{not the sea, however!} Without a car, we did not find it difficult to travel about the city, thanks to the hotel staff, who were most helpful in directing us to transport. We have stayed in premier inns before and here we found , as we expected , comfortable, clean and well equipped rooms ; our only quibble was that there was limited wardrobe space. the popular breakfast buffet was generous, but although we were situated nearby, I have mobility issues which were an anxiety when carrying food and drinks to the table. This was not improved by children whose various parents seemed unaware that their using the coffee machines and toasters as a play facility was less than helpful to other guests.

We had an accessible room. It was huge. Plenty of room to get the wheelchair around. The bathroom was a great size too! Wet room with a fold down seat in the shower. The only improvement I would as of is the toilet as it’s not aDisabled toilet it’s a standard one. It’s a bit low and not very wide! But we managed!

We chose the hotel due to its location to town, and the National pool die to my son swimming in a competition. Parking onside is an absolute bonus only could do with a resident badge for ease. The room fit 3 of us perfectly and even with the scaffolding on the building we still got a view of the Dock. The beds were perfectly comfy the pillows not so. Would recommend to others for sure

No issues with hotel / room. You get what you expect here. However , poor experience when we arrived 30 minutes early (2.30pm) and was asked to pay extra £10 for an already expensive overpriced room. Sat in reception until 3pm when we could check-in. Not great!
