Went to Cadwaladers today for lunch break. WISH WE HADN'T. The service was dreadful, and i mean DREADFUL, and the food very average. Wont be visiting this place again. The three girls there were clueless, no organisation at all. The bacon sandwich i had was mediocre, with overcooked bacon, my wife's tuna sandwich took 20 mins to come out, they told my wife that they did not have salad garnish in stock, then all of a sudden they had salad. My son's meal deal was missing juice as they didn't have any!!! No potatoes for a Jacket when my wife initially asked for a Jacket!!! Then we ordered a second coffee each, waited 10 mins and asked again for the coffee and found out that they had given them to another table by mistake.By this time i was starting to see red, so i asked for a refund on the coffee only to be asked did we drink any of it. DRINK IT, Oh yes, drink coffee that we didn't even receive!!! Invisible coffee!! The icecream portion for our son was very mean too, £4 for two very small scoops.Wish we had gone into Greggs instead.Very disappointed ?

Been here loads of times and normally is great apart from them only taking card now which is a shame.Anyway our most recent visit was very disappointing. They wouldn’t make a sundae or waffle because apparently there was only one person working, even though there was nobody else in there. There’s normally a bit of a wait in the summer anyway so we were happy to wait but we ended up leaving because all they could offer was single scoops of ice cream. Group of 7 of us so we would have spent a decent amount as well.We came back another day and there was only one person serving (different person) and they were happy to make sundaes even though it was busier, probably something to do with the manager being there sitting on a laptop having a meeting. Very confusing. Service definitely needs improvement anyway and more consistently.

I paid £4 for a double tub and got this tiny portion pictured. Definitely not a double tub size portion, the tiniest scoops I’ve ever seen! It’s a single scoop’s worth at best. The ice cream was ok, a bit icy, definitely not worth £4 for this tiny portion. Staff also not super friendly or welcoming and overall it just wasn’t a nice visit.

Exceptionally slow service. Took over 5 mins to make 3 drinks and we were the only customers! I ordered a latte and got a cappuccino. I hope they speed up before the season starts!

We last visited Cadwaladers five years ago on our last visit to Tenby. This time we had two more children in tow and had to take them to try the awesome ice cream sundaes! Never disappointed here and the children's sundaes are the perfect amount for little ones! We'll be back next time we're in the area!

Great ice cream selection. Man working there was lovely. Other staff didn’t acknowledge us. Very unorganised place- our order came in drips-and-drabs. Very expensive for what we had- tried to check the recipe was right but there was no items listed on it. It’s okay as a cafe but wouldn’t visit again.

The staff were very patient and friendly and didn’t make me feel bad when I had questions and was being indecisive on what I’ve cream to get. They had so many options that looked great and were clearly popular including some dairy free options. They seem to take allergies and intolerances seriously and are very accommodatingIt also seemed to be one of the few places we could find where you could actually sit down and grab a coffee, a very nice & big coffee!

They have a wonderful selection of dairy free desserts, ice cream and snacks and are very careful about allergens, which is great for me with an allergy child. The staff were lovely as well. They could probably do with an extra one person on shift though because they didn't have anyone spare to clear and clean tables and any empty ones were piled high with dirty dishes. We had ice cream, which was lovely and we will definitely call back

Dirty tables, staff who really didn't seem to care... Such a shame! Four of us came in and chose our desserts... Having cleared off our own table and made the most of being able to sit together. Then went to order, ignored by staff. Went to take away counter.... Told to go back to where I had akready been ignored. Went back as didn't want to cause a scene... Eventually served. No please, thank you or enjoy uttered by the staff member as she almost threw the desserts onto the still filthy table... The joy we had in eating £28 worth of desserts with minimal customer service and filthy table... Only the actual desserts got this up to a 3*

As a family we visit here every year when we visit tenby, the ice cream, food and service is always good. My son also has a dairy allergy and enjoys when we go there. Unfortunately on this visit we were so disappointed. They weren’t serving any fresh food (even though there was a big standing sign outside advertising food), they just had a few pre packed sandwiches, they didn’t take cash and the customer service was terrible. I asked if they were still serving waffles and sundae’s, the waiter said yes and gave me a menu (as there weren’t any on the tables), I went back to the counter to order the ice cream and the manager said quite abruptly, “where did you get that menu from?” I explained how I got it and she was still quite abrupt whilst taking my order. The food was lovely, my son wasn’t so keen on the vanilla dairy free ice cream as it tasted different to last time. Although the food was good, the customer service let the place down tremendously, as a qualified customer service advisor it was very poor and especially for the price too, unfortunately we won’t be going back.

Dreadful rude staff but nice ice creams! Seriously they just ignore you while you wait for them to finish chatting to each other.

Rude service. Given cutlery that was dirty. When I asked for a clean set, the waitress took my cutlery, threw it in the sink dramatically and then presented me with the cutlery pots and told me to pick my own! No apology. Also, the smoothies are advertised as gluten free on menus and ad boards but the mango isn't. We only know this as we asked them to double check. Clearly there has been very little allergen training here as the staff all looked blankly at each other when questioned, one team member even said 'you're asking the wrong person, shrugged and walked away'.The floor could do with a sweep and the menus a wipe. All the tables around us had cups, plates etc on from earlier customers. Also no food due to staff shortages. Yet we were the only table and there were 4 staff hanging around the counter.I'd advise going to one of the independent shops instead, where customer service is likely to be more of a priority.

The manager there was so helpful in deciding the perfect ice cream. Very professional what an asset to a business. Being a EHO inspector myself she had high knowledge of safe food practices and allergy management which gave extra peace of mind. Would definitely return.

The most gorgeous chocolate ice cream & salted caramel cone I’ve ever had. Went back three days on the trot, just as well we don’t live in Tenby I’d be huge by now! Such lovely holiday treat. Staff always really friendly & chatty, would definitely return. Yum !!
