For train enthusiasts this is a lovely place, friendly people and steam train atmosphere. Food was given quite quickly. Good food

Delicious breakfast everything was cooked to perfection..Nice cup of coffee too..?

Usual cafe food. Eggs were overcooked but the portion sizes were good. All just seemed a little hit and miss.

Takeaway sandwich, very expensive, a few bits of fatty undercooked bacon, forgot the egg and chucked into a box not even wrapped up. £7 for that! Shocking.

Brilliant place and staff if only British Rail was run with the same care, love and proffessionalism

This is a very popular place especially on a wet Sunday. The Sunday lunch was good once we found a table. Like most people we were taking the trip on the train and decided to have lunch while we were there. Nice selection of food which came to the table very quickly.

Good food and drinks, clean with very good service and the great added advantage of steam trains....love itKid-friendliness: Kids love it and good selection of drinks and snacks

We had two fantastic veggie breakfasts before taking our train ride. The cafe is spotlessly clean, the welcome was friendly and the food was great. The Glamorgan sausages were delicious. We'd definitely go again just for the breakfast without a train ride.Vegetarian options: Great options

we had some drinks there. Friendly staff. Very clean. Fitted in nicely with the whole vibe at the station. Nostalgic.

Basic but lovely food. Nothing fussy. Always busy particularly on a Sunday lunchtime when roast dinners are served. Very good value for money and friendly staff.

As always a friendly service and great food We often go for tea and a tea cake or lunch. Soak up the atmosphere of the trains!

Lovely roast dinner on Sundays with plenty of veg. Self service but they bring the food to your table

We were on holiday and were here last year also but missed out on the Railway Cafe so made sure we visited this year on our first full day. We were not disappointed. I had the ham, egg and chips and my wife the Welsh Rarebit. Both were excellent with generous portions. My wife said it was the best rarebit she had ever tasted. Interesting that a number of locals were having their lunch there and we enjoyed hearing their tales and comments. Yes, we would visit again if we ever get back to Tywyn! I bought a mug with a map of Tywyn area from the shop as a souvenir so I can recall our visit!!

Always greeted with a smile. Prices are very fair for the area. Plenty of seating inside and out. Good choice of food and drinks.Parking: Large car park 200 yards away. £1 for four hours last year and £2 for four hours this year. Council getting very greedy.
