We had two fantastic veggie breakfasts before taking our train ride. The cafe is spotlessly clean, the welcome was friendly and the food was great. The Glamorgan sausages were delicious. We'd definitely go again just for the breakfast without a train ride.Vegetarian options: Great options
We were on holiday and were here last year also but missed out on the Railway Cafe so made sure we visited this year on our first full day. We were not disappointed. I had the ham, egg and chips and my wife the Welsh Rarebit. Both were excellent with generous portions. My wife said it was the best rarebit she had ever tasted. This is a very popular place especially on a wet Sunday. The Sunday lunch was good once we found a table. Like most people we were taking the trip on the train and decided to have lunch while we were there. Nice selection of food which came to the table very quickly.
