Nice staff, great service. Fish & chips were best we've had. Good quality fish (no skin left on or sneaky little bones). Crispy, crunchy batter and lovely chips. All cooked to perfection and not greasy. Top marks for environmental packaging - cardboard boxes, paper bags and wooden forks. Well done. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing experience on our visit to this fish and chip shop in Aberdovey - 10 of us all cooked fresh to order , super tasty with really excellent service from a friendly bunch of staff Most importantly the fish was excellent and fresh with really big flakes and super crispy batter , the chips and curry sauce were equally impressive Well done all at Walkers and if you are passing and you don’t pay them a visit you have definitely missed out…!!

Best chips I’ve had in years, had to go back in and tell them so! Milly loved her sausage too! A pleasure to chat to the owner, and discover he lived over our way for a while- small world!

Being a coeliac it’s really important to not only be able to join in and eat out but have a good level of understanding at questions we fire at any local food restaurant/ chip shop …. Do you wash your hands and is it all fried and prepared separately? Well all I can say is if you have coeliac disease and are sensitive (like me ! ) then please rest assure walkers is definitely a place you can buy fish & chips and eat with confidence . I had 1/2 chicken and chips and it was the most delightful tasting chicken and the chips were amazing . The second day I had fish , the batter was crispy and looking at the other fish you would not know it was different . 100 % highly recommended… staff are very informative and knowledgeable about gluten free / vegetarian and food hygiene . If you are in Aberdovey please pay them a visit and enjoy the great tasting food !! ??

Best fish and chips I've had! I've always found them to be disappointing, but we had a great meal. Generous and excellent quality. We had cod and chips, halloumi fries, and salmon and dill fish cakes. A great variety of dishes to choose from. Very fresh and tasty, with friendly service to boot.
The fish were chips were OK a bit greasy don’t order a large cod no size difference, the chips seemed to be to be processes not freshly cooked, the worst thing was the service they were just rude and unhelpful, we would never go again.

Fabulous fish & chips! Very busy as it was the last weekend of the May week school holidays. Cooked to perfection, still hot having walked a few minutes to our accommodation, thoroughly enjoyed. Will return to try something else when back in Aberdyfi. Thanks to you all for your team effort and friendliness.
