Impromptu stop off for lunch on a long journey - well worth it though :)Lovely food and not only was the coffee prepared very much to my taste, the cups were very generous. Staff friendly and welcoming; warm atmosphere with subtle background music.

Very full plate of well cooked and presented food. Friendly staff, clean and airy cafe. Carried on our journey happy and replete. Will definitely be visiting next time we're in the area.

Stppoed here on our way through to Wales.Food was nice, all together worth returning for. Coffee I'm told was good, hot chocolate was nice compared to a lot of other cafés.Nice big portions, decent sized mugs for drinks. However, what was exemplary was the service from the three young girls serving today. The cafe was busy and as we got to to the front of the queue we were politely asked to wait a minute while they sort the orders out. No problem, it was nice to be acknowledged straight away - all too often staff ignore you to wait alone before taking your order so it was a pleasant change. After ordering we decided on a very small menu change which was also met with no problem. All too often we find service to be lacking, especially by the younger generations (a sign that we're old), but all three young girls today deserve a mention for their politeness, manners and confidence in dealing with the public. Credit given where credit is due, all three of you made a positive memorable impact on how polite you were.Parking: A few spaces outside on nearby street if you're lucky, pay and display car park across the road.

Ciabatta was to die for, service was excellent:) Would definitely recommend it :) Owners sense of humour is lacking a bit but don’t let that spoil your experience ?

As someone who eats here regularly I have never had a bad meal! This particular occasion I had a pork, apple sauce and stuffing ciabatta and it was perfect! Also treated myself to an oreo brownie and a coffee! Perfect ? Also noticed the new addition of a coffee bar to be able to sit and people watch! Highly recommended!

This is now our stopping place when we go to Wales. We even navigate our journey around making sure we arrive at opening time. This time I chose the cheese and mushroom omelette with a side of beans and toast. It was very tasty and very filling. Last time I had the vegetarian breakfast and that was equally tasty and vfm. See you again in March. Our poppy (dog) loves the little sausage treat when we go too.
