We chose what we needed which was more in value and served by a lovely young man who couldn't apologize enough. Well done. Great experience all round.

In Welshpool, Baba Ali P&K makes the best pizza and highly economical. It’s still my best pizza spot. It’s just like our naija pizza style. Plus, you get to make your own in terms of what you want on it. It’s delicious. ?

Stopped off for drinks on a long drive, and this place worked out about halfway.Nice place, the food looked good but didn't eat. There is a nice outdoor sitting area and a separate play area for kids.

We visited whilst staying in the Welshpool area during half term. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was superb. We had the vegetarian platter and meat samosa to start, followed by a lamb tikka main and a chicken tikka achari. All the sundries - naan, rice, poppadoms - all wonderful. Definitely worth a visit!

I’m glad I have a chance to congratulate your staff, in particular I presume the manager. A warm friendly welcome. Showed us to our table which I had booked in advance. I am disabled so I like to have room around me, also to be able to see my Granddaughter play in the outside play area. On our last visit 6 months ago, the service was poor, the food was terrible. Because the pub is so handy for me personally we tried it again. I am so pleased we did. The food was GREAT, I had scampi, garden peas and chips. My Granddaughter had cheese and ham pizza ( child’s menu) . The manager brought our drinks over as I’m on crutches. THANK YOU we loved being back to a favourite pub and we shall visit again shortly. Please keep the standards up so that I can recommend. 5 ***** .

We had a day out. We specifically went to Welshpool and called into the Cornstore restaurant. Ordering sweet chilli chicken and coconut sauce with wild rice. X2 The first thing we noticed was the size of the portion and the second was the steam coming off the dish. The dish that the dish came in was also heated. Both our dishes we amazing full of flavour. Very tasty and good value for money. We had to take away our dessert because we had very little room left to eat them at the restaurant. Again and absolute credit to the staff.Without a doubt we would go back for food the staff were wonderful as wellWe travelled from DenbighshireFood & drinks: Absolutely amazing what else can we say.

Nipped in as our hotel had stopped serving, although no alcohol licence it’s really well worth trying, the food was so different and nothing like any Indian restaurant I’d ever been in (and I’ve tried a few!) large portions and really delicious meal, highly recommended!

Fleeing from the lack-lustre offerings at the National Trust cafe, we were absolutely delighted to discover this delightful, light and bright tea room instead. Here, the cakes were sumptuous, truly homemade, and delicious. The tea was especially flavourful, we discovered that it was Welsh tea and were very happy to be able to purchase some from the village shop next door to take home. It's only a short distance off the main road (A483), and it's absolutely worth the small detour. Strongly recommended.

One of the best breakfasts you can get.. standard never changes through out the year.. Happy staff always has time to chat whilst working.. and nothing is to much trouble..and it's dog friendly..They also have a very good menu.Vegetarian options: Can't say to much as I'm not a vegetarian.

We sat outside in the pretty little sectioned off patio area in front of this independent cafe, as we had a dog with us. We had ordered a selection of cakes and drinks inside and they were all brought out to us. I had the scone with jam and clotted cream. The scone was deliciously fresh and really large. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Decided to call for food after passing.many times on route or home from events at Builth Wells. Good decision good pub grub very tasty and plenty of it. Staff pleasant and fitted us in even though we hadn't booked. Will call again recommended if you are passing and are hungry.
