Bar • “we had a party booking for 18 people,it was very well organised and the food was all brought to the tables at the same time,we had a varied choice of foods and everyone said there food was very tasty and hot. The staff where very good and helpful.i will definatey be returning in the near future.”

Bar • “Stayed over for a night in our campervan. EHU worked great, owner was able to supply a connector for our adapter! Had a few drinks in the pub before an early close due to being very quiet. Kitchen was shut for the weekend but the landlord recommended a good takeaway as offered plates and cutlery, very handy! Amenities was basic but was able to get a shower and use of the toilets 24hours. Would stay again if in the area. Very quiet area, minimum noise. Dog friendly in the pub which is always a bonus.”
Bar • “Last minute Sunday lunch at 5pm (they stop serving at 6pm) Staff cery frienly and proffessional. Chose from the well priced 2 course Sunday lunch menu for £25. Had the Beef dinner. It was a good portion and tasty. There were a lot of extra flavours added it, for me a slightly unusual tasting Sunday lunch in that it wasn't basic and run of the mill (although some prefer this!)Dessert was a blackberry and apple fool. It certainly fooled me. As there was a pear ? hiding in it too! ?”

Bar • “Lovely food in a terrific setting. Plenty of parking available at the time we visited. We were given a friendly welcome and seated quickly on a table with views over the river. Our order was taken after browsing the extensive menus. Food was served quickly and tasted lovely. Overall a great experience. Will definitely return in the summer and take advantage of the outdoor seating area which looked fantastic.Vegetarian options: Good choice of veggie options.”
