Cardamoms is good value for money and the food is very tasty. You have to take your own drink, which I don't mind but may put some people off.The waiting staff are friendly and helpful.Friday nights seem to be the time for large numbers of young people to get together for a meal, which is great, but the noise in the restaurant is terrible. I couldn't hear the person sitting next to me, let alone the rest of our party.Not the place for an intimate meal for two but great for a meet up with your mates.

Only been to this place once before and the food/service was exceptional. We’ve just had a takeaway from there tonight. Food was fantastic, delivery was prompt and the driver a lovely guy and they included a load of extras we didn’t ask for. They certainly deliver on every level at this place. Highly recommended

This restaurant isn't your typical Indian, it's far too bright and more like a take away waiting area.The service was good and the food was excellent, with large portions. Only soft drinks are available but you can take your own drinks .The cost was reasonable.

We visited Cardamon on the spur of the moment and found it to be very enjoyable indeed. The portion sizes were extremely large so it was really good value for money. The food was excellent and extremely tasty. Two of us had dishes that we had never heard of before. The restaurant does not have a license so we could not have an alcoholic drink while we were there. If we had of known we could’ve popped to the off-licence and picked up a couple of cans of beer. On the whole, it was a great choice and if we were in the area again we would return.

Popped in for dinner at the BYO curry house with the family as we were staying nearby. It was empty and absolutely freezing when we arrived around 6:30pm on a weekday. It must have been 15 or 16 degrees in there, and it stayed like that for the duration (I guess it is too costly for them to heat such a large space). That and the speaker distorting above our table somewhat detracted from the atmosphere... Friendly service and pretty decent standard Indian restaurant food (but definitely, and probably thankfully, nothing 'avant garde' about it!) Seemed to be just the one guy taking takeaway orders and waiting tables so it took a while to get the bill, but otherwise it was ok.
