Pubs • “Lovely traditional pub and cracking Sunday dinner, been a few times now and they do one of the best Sunday dinners around. The roast beef is perfect, slightly pink and really tender. Veg cooked to perfection, huge delicious yorky. Customer service is also excellent.”

“My old local when I lived in the town. Always loved it, open fire, occasionally live music, great gardens in the summer. Friendly and welcoming. Glad to see it seems to be doing well again. Oh and a well kept pint...sorry I'm a larger girl.”

Pubs • “So after a couple of bad chefs they have finally got a good one they had a couple of weeks of let downs regarding the food but this new chef is really good. The dirty burger that's on the menu is delicious comes with salad, onion rings, skin on fries, and some condiments, the burger tastes amazing with it's chili beef. Staff are welcoming and friendly, the pub/restaurant is nice and clean. Overall a very nice hidden gem of a pub. Ideal for families, also has a camping site which I assume you book in advance? Love the place it is really nice and I will be coming back again. I've seen the negative reviews and I will admit that was from a previous chef who was sacked according to staff he will not be returning, they now have a female head chef who clearly can cook excellent food. Would recommend to anyone.”
