Very clean and tidy (recently refurbished ?) canal-side pub with what looked like good outdoor seating. Lacked atmosphere on a Thurs lunchtime in early January but in summer I'm sure it will be heaving (?). Music started at a pleasant level then turned up for some reason. Good beer and Excellent cider, according to my wife. We didn't eat but the food looked and smelt excellent.
Highly recommend. We popped in for dinner after collecting our daughter from nursery. We didn’t book but were accommodated straight away next to the warm radiator. The service was excellent and the food came so quick, all hot and fresh. The atmosphere was lovely and I will be returning. Keep up the great work. Thanks for a lovely meal.

My 1st visit I only went there because saw advert at train station I'm glad I went there service was excellent quick the beer was good a really good pub to stop before making my way home on the train.
