“This is a proper village pub in a picturesque setting. The place itself is very cosy but with tasteful decor and a stove fireplace which was lit when we arrived. There is plenty of outdoor seating available too. The waitress who greeted us was really friendly and helpful and took the time to have a little chat with us. There's a good selection of beers on offer including Madri, Pravha and Purity Session IPA. We came for lunch so I ordered the meatball ciabatta sandwich which comes with chips. All very delicious but most difficult to eat...it's a big old sandwich that! I really liked the addition of the pesto and the fact that the bread comes from a local bakery? I felt like all the food was very affordable but really good quality stuff! Worth mentioning also that they are dog friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and agreed we'd go again soon!”
