Wonderful friendly pub. Have returned a few times now and always had a warm welcome However muddy our boots are! Had 2 muddy dogs with us this time and still welcomed in. Food excellent and very good value.
Arranged to meet our son, daughter in law and their 6wk old baby for my 60th Birthday celebration lunch. It is halfway in a two hour journey so suited all of us. Jack was very accommodating when I booked being very understanding of having such a young member of the family with us. We had fish and chips, burgers and a pizza which were all delicious. Fabulous pub in a lovely village. Food was amazing - freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. The desserts were delicious and full of flavour. My friend and I pronounced it one of the best meals we’ve had! The atmosphere was nice, calm and relaxed, the proprietors are friendly and genuinely proud of their menu - as they should be! Thank you.
