Best real ale pub in the Midlands dog friendly, children not aloud in the bar which sutes me. Its a drinking pub thay do very little food, plenty of other places locally if food is what you want.

An absolute gem, very cosy with roaring fires, and the beer selection is top-notch. Spot on for a proper relaxed pint. Ample non alcoholic offering too for the designated driver!

An old fashioned drinkers pub but not for children inside. The beer is well kept and always plenty of choice. This has not changed even more choice of beers now.

Proper pub. Always a great selection of well kept ales. Quick attentive service. Good pub grub. Open fires. No children (which is a bonus) - best of all they always have Old Peculier on. Which makes me think I shall nip in today, just to check.Reading the negative reviews those people simply went to the wrong pub. This a real ale drinkers' paradise.
