Been going here through my A levels. Every Friday me and my friends would go here and get our chips. The main lady is so lovely she always greets us with a smile and asks us about our day. The food is fantastic and is great value. It hold many good chip Friday memory’s for me and my friends. So highly recommend.

Chips are great and fish etc. cooked to order. Friendly staff. I’ve never had a bad meal from here. Previously I used School Lane but stopped going after the chips were always cold.

If that's the best chippy in Kenilworth, I pity the locals.Haddock was freshly cooked but batter was greasy/oily and with smell and aftertaste that puts me off going ever again.Very friendly and good value for small fish and small chips.A few other recent reviews saying the same, unfortunately.Parking: Out front, and also limited on side streets.

Shame this place didn't live up to expectation from previous reviews. Chips tasteless, fish batter too greasy and fish dry. Curry sauce ok though.Maybe just an off day for food or chef!

Left a review here a while back as it was great but ordered some large chips from here last night and the portions have seemed to of gone stingy. ‘Large’ portion of chips for £3.80 barely filled mine and my partners plate. Usually when we have ordered from other places we fill a whole family worth of plates and still have some left over! For that price I expected way more. Lots of sharp chips and very dry too, won’t be returning St John’s in warwick a lot better.

The best fish & scallops I've tasted in a very long time. Freshly fried cod with a lovely light batter, and scallops were also crispy with plenty of potato inside. Can eat in or take out. Highly recommended.
