I was staying at the hotel and tried the food downstairs. The captain's curry, tamarind rice and roti were very good and surprisingly cheap - a rarity at the moment.Very much recommended

We had an excellent meal here which was very reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.Parking: Parking at rear of premises with about 15 spaces

This restaurant deserves to be booked out every evening. Such excellent food at great prices. The Rendang Daging Tak Perak beef and Captains Curry were superb, as was the 'Jawa' rice (had to have this because Star Wars)The roti was delicious too.We shared curry puffs and chicken satay starters. Also both excellent.Well done chef.Parking: You can park in the hotel car park, despite the signs, if using the restaurant.

I've just had some very nice food here. I hope people realise what a decent restaurant this is in Kenilworth.

We did this restaurant on a Groupon - it was excellent! The waiter was lovely and very helpful and the food was absolutely delicious- can’t fault the portion sizes and the food was incredibly tasty with just the right amount I’d spice. Definitely recommend!

Never been to Warwickshire so when we got hungry did a google found this place and I would definitely return again. The starter was delicious a mince/ spiced bread combination with salad and my main with okra was fantastic with a yogurt rice and spicy pork amazing slow burn heat spicy flavours so so nice …. Cobra on tap a great host and a lovely clean venue-

I really don't recommend to go there\\nThis is absolutely not Malaysian cuisines. But in fact Indian!\\nEverything felt wrong from the wine we was given to the mains\\nWhich waited 50 minutes for a small dog bowl ! For the desert we waited 45 minutes\\nWe received a high % alcoholic rum spilled on the plate and the pineapple with the ice cream\\nMy partner was drunk! Just from that\\nWe looked at the other guests\\nAnd their plates was bigger and fuller\\nIt felt like they're making fun of us\\nTreating us with the worst service\\nWhatever u hear\\nDon't go there !\\nLet karma take care of this horrible called Malaysian fake restaurant.

I bought the Groupon deal for my mum for Mother’s Day. The first reservation in April was cancelled, they rang & told me they had a private party so I rearranged for this evening at 6pm. My mum and her partner arrived at 5.30pm to be told they had a private function but could come back at 8.30pm! … Really??? I had no correspondence from them at all about this despite them telling my mum they had emailed me! I have checked my spam etc & have nothing! Needless to say I am requesting a refund. The disappointing thing is my mum said the man at the restaurant didn’t seem bothered at all. Hence why I am writing this now. So thanks for disappointing my mum again & you rubbish communication, I hope Groupon remove you.

We had Mother’s Day mealAbsolutely delicious, authentic Malaysian food. Better than any big restaurants in big citiesThis is a hidden gem. We had captains curry - chicken curry, murtabak raging (Malaysian bread stuffed with minced bread) and lamp dish. Simply mouth watering. Will be coming back as they do 2 4 1 through meerkat and group on deals making it very affordable

It's quite appropriate to have the good quality of Malaysian foods here in Warwickshire, UK.

Just had what has to be the best value meal. 2 courses glass of wine for 2 for £19. It's a groupon deal but better booking it direct. First class service great food 5 stars all the way.
