“Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Stag. Particular thanks to waiter, George, and waitress Alex, who between them looked after a busy dining room, in a calm efficient, capable and friendly manner. Even the bill was delivered when wanted and payment taken promptly, which is something that most waiters seem to think customers should be made to wait for.”

“The staff are very kind, and the place is clean and brilliant. The pizza we ordered was tasty, but the crust was really thin, so the edges ended up a bit dry and little slightly burnt. Since we were in a hurry and very hungry, it wasn’t a big issue this time, but if it happens again when we return, we will definitely mention it. Other than that, it’s a lovely place with a great atmosphere, I’d recommend it.”
