Visited Glebegate yesterday evening for dinner. Firstly, the students ought to be very proud of themselves. The food and service were excellent, the food we were presented with was absolutely delicious and definitely akin to fine dining. Students are obviously very well trained, indeed a credit to their tutors, one of whom oversaw the restaurant. We were so impressed we have booked again for our Christmas treat. There were six in our party and we were all delighted with the politeness of our waiting staff and the quality of the food provided by those students working hard behind the scenes. Highly recommend Glebegate, a treasure on our doorstep

What a hidden gem this place is. £10 3 course lunch and the food and service was outstanding. The restaurant is a teaching environment for the college but not that you would know. Food was fresh hot and looked as good as it tasted.

Lovely place. The food was excellent and very nicely served by the students. Nice atmosphere which was enhanced by the crowd in from, probably, the local WI. We had a three course meal and a nice cuppa to finish. I partook of the chocolate brownie and I have to say it was the nicest one I've ever had.
