Lack of choice. Caesar salad chicken fry, steak Americana grisly. Pie adequate, gravy tasted as if it had come out of a jar. Did not care for the bourbon biscuit with coffee. Service not very attentive. Was asked if we wanted desert and the waitress never returned to take the order. On a positive note, the interior is lovely and the beer was good. Would return but only for drinks.

I had to ring to change my booking as I was unable to do so on line. The member of staff who took the call made me feel as if I was a real inconvenience in her day but said (with a sigh that)she would, "juggle the tables". I felt like cancelling altogether and going elsewhere if it was such a nuisance. We arrived and the staff were helpful and friendly. We got drinks, menus and order taken. Starters arrived without too long a wait: However, the wait for mains was excruciatingly long. Eventually got a pudding too, paid without difficulty and went home. Quality of food was mostly good, but I would not order the chicken and mushroom pie again. Chicken very bland and could only really taste garlic or similar.

We had a lovely time and meal was very nice. Side orders did not come out til near the end of the meal so that was a shame. Staff member Michelle was exceptional,, friendly, polite and very welcoming despite it being a busy Saturday evening she was like a breath of fresh

We stopped going for a while as the service and food was well below what it used to be. We heard that the management had changed so decided to give it another go.This was a fantastic decision, swift friendly service, superb scrumptious food and all at a very reasonable price.Overall a massive change and everything for the positive. I will highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends, with absolute confidence. Thank you

Everything fine, except lack of food...All Sunday roasts and steaks were sold out plus 2 pudding choices were sold out too. It's nice that things had been busy but lack of menu choice ?

We came here for Mother’s Day. The food was really good, and my son even tried the beef, which he loved too. The staff were really attentive, and good with the kids too. We’ve booked again for our son’s birthday in march as he loved it thereParking: There’s lots of parking thereKid-friendliness: The staff we dealt with were really friendly with our kids

It's a really nice pub, the lady who served us was lovely. The food wasn't the best, not for what they are charging anyway £15 for a burger which has the smallest amount of sauce on the burger, beef was quite dry, the coleslaw was cheap tasting and about a tea spoon amount, I ordered thick chips but received fires, someone had the chicken burger which was like rubber and couldn't even bite into it, which we asked for this to be changed for another which still wasn't the best when the second one arrived, I think it must be cheap chicken or something but it wasn't nice, they did refund that meal due to this but my friend said she visited previously and the chicken was the same. It's quite expensive for what you get. My friend ordered the starter which was the chicken pieces which were the smallest thing I have ever seen for £7! It was about one chicken tender worth on the place...Don't even bother ordering these not worth the money whatsoever absoloutely tiny.
