Food is always cooked exactly how you want, service is always quick even if there is a long que. Prices are on the high side but I feel like they make up for that with the portion size. Definitely

Disappointed. Service was very slow from the young lady tonight, portion size very small compared to other chip shops for more money. I have used this chippy for over 35 years not anymore after today.

The fish was excellent,however after 20years we are going elsewhere . The chips or so called are no more than soggy greasy potatoes that the servers squash and ram into the smallest package possible.
40 plus years we have used this chip shop… never been shouted at as a customer before!!! So rude!! Went in at lunchtime at 1340. Asked for 2 mini-fish and chips.. !!sorry we close at 2. You’ll have to have what’s there.. which was nothing!! Years ago.. old Jim would have had a smile on his face and said no problem.. I’ll put some on for you.. OAP left without lunch

nice looking chippy nice friendly staff horrible chips dry tastless not soft in the middle tasted like they were reheated, had chips from here in the past and they have been okish but not these wont be back.
