It has been some time since we last went to Leonardos as we don't go into town very often.It was clean, table cloths on the table, well stocked condiments etc.The lady who took the order was efficient. The food and drink arrived quite promptly and were generally well presented.However, having worked in hospitality for 8 years, when I was younger, the one thing that was impressed on us was service with a smile. This was sadly lacking.

Popped in Saturday lunchtime. First time we've been and we'll definitely return. Food and service was excellent. Considering how busy it was we were waited on quickly and efficiently and food was served without any delay. My wife ordered Jacket Potato with Beans and Cheese and was wide eyed at the delicious and large potato which was served. I had one of the All Day Breakfasts and it was lovely. All washed down with a couple of good sized cups of coffee

Went in for cooked breakfast while waiting for car to be fixed at Halfords. I had the biggest breakfast...all quite nice apart from the sausages which I wasn't a fan of at all. 3 x bacon, 2 x eggs, 2 x sausages, 2 x toast, 2 x hash browns beans, mushrooms which were quite chewy, but tasty and I love them like that. I didnt have the 2 x fried bread as not a fan. Good value, just improve the sausages id say.

It really depends on what your expectations are when it comes to reviewing food. If you go expecting good quality produce and get mediocre, you'd be disappointed. At Leonardo's, I got what I expected. The coffee was good. The fully English was reasonable - crispy bacon (which I requested), tepid baked beans, cheap breakfast sausage, deep fried (why?) mushrooms, hash brown and a good friend egg. Service was ok. Reasonably priced.

Just had lunch here with 2 friends & it was really good. Meet here regularly & am never disappointed. Food is excellent with a large menu. Service is 1st class, all staff very efficient & friendly. Also a very pleasant atmosphere
