Love this pub! Been coming for 25 years it just keeps getting better & better! Great menu, staff & welcoming. I helped jointly found the classic car meeting in the spring & summer months which is also well worth coming too. Always a good selection of beer & ales too! Highly recommended.Rooms: Good value family roomsNearby activities: Cotswold distillery & blue bell woodlands. In the gateway to The CotswoldsWalkability: 10/10 blue bells everywhere & walk to the Cotswold Distillery & cafe ?Food & drinks: Great home cooked style menu! Fab value for money tooNoteworthy details: Out door pod facilities are good for walkers and weekenders

A warm welcome will greet you when you arrive at the Norman Knight. The team are friendly and helpful making sure you have what you want and need. We stayed for two nights in the glamping pods. These are comfortable, clean and spacious. The pods are set up well for self catering or you can always visit the pub for some well recommended and tasty food. The pub also has an EV charge point which is available to customers and guests.Rooms: Excellent self catering pods which are spacious clean and comfortable.Food & drinks: Excellent menu available which caters for all and many tastes. There is also a takeaway menu if you prefer.

Stayed for two nights in the glamping pods in order to be within walking distance of the Cotswolds distillery. The rooms were clean, surprisingly spacious and nicely designed. The staff were friendly and happy to help. Cask beers were kept well and had a decent offering. The star of the show though had to be the food; best vegetarian pub food I've had in a long time (I'm sure the meat dishes are nice too but I personally can't say).Nearby activities: I chose the Norman Knight specifically so that we were in walking distance of the Cotswolds distillery as we had a tour booked. It definitely is within walking distance but be aware it is a relatively narrow road and is quite hilly. The road isn't too busy but you will have to stop and get close to the hedges if a car comes at certain points along the road. Scenery is lovely though.Food & drinks: I had braised lentils with roasted cauliflower on spinach and almonds. My partner has the vegi deli board. Well thought out food prepared perfectly. Compliments to the kitchen staff.

Lovely quiet location, great selection of beers. Friendly staff, nice food. Half an hour walk from the Cotswolds Distillery too, as an added bonus ?.Fish and chips was lovely and garlic ciabatta bread starter was fabulous.
