The Halford Bridge Inn
Fosse Way, Halford, Shipston-on-StourHad a wonderful lunch here whilst travelling south on the A429. It was the perfect place to break our long journey. We were made immediately welcome on entering the Inn and both had lovely and generous meals. Well worth a visit. Many thanks to all the staff there.

Station Rd, Shipston-on-StourProper country pub. Lovely staff with a fire warming the bar. Food was brilliant, we had incredible Burgers with delicious sides of Truffle and Parmesan fries and Corn on the Cob ‘ribs’ with locally sourced and fresh ingredients!Well worth a visit!!

Front St, Ilmington, Shipston-on-StourAbsolutely fabulous Sunday lunch today, thank you Red Lion Team. ?? Between us we chose roast rib of beef, the brisket and the roast Lamb. Soo much tender delicious meat, huge tasty yorkies, crispy potatoes and lovely FRESH veggies! Really was the best roast we’ve EVER eaten out and we ordered a wonderful cauliflower cheese as an extra. Extremely generous portions as always and top notch home cooking at its absolute best. No mean portion controlled meals that you get elsewhere… Soo generous that we have as yet to have room left to try any of the deserts!! We don’t eat out as a family often, it’s a treat for us and whenever we do we choose to go to the Red Lion as it is consistently GREAT and all the staff are always really nice. The homemade minted lamb burger they have done in the past is the best burger any of us have ever tried!! ? Their pies are all fresh and homemade, the veg fresh and their gravy yummy! They welcome dogs too which is always a win win for us and for hubby that pops in during a dog walk for a drink and warm up. A traditional old school pub with most excellent food!

The Bower House Restaurant & Rooms
2-4 Market Pl, Shipston-on-StourWas our privilege to eat at the Bower, gorgeous village setting and a very warm welcome on entrance. Cosy and Quirky. Had the Scallop Ravioli to start which was amazing, so dam tasty so much so I wanted to lick the dish out!! Lol. The roast Beef and my partner had the Belly Pork, both cooked perfectly to our taste with fantastic Yorkshire Puds and the Veg were gorg and the Cauliflower Cheese was so freshly made. In all the food, service and venue was a delight and will be booking a room for my partners birthday to soak up the calm village life with the joy of the Bower.Finally all the staff seemed so happy in their work and were praising the head Chef. Praise to him from us. Thank you Bower.

Shipston Pizza & Kebab House
2 West St, Shipston-on-StourI’ve just moved to Moreton in Marsh and called this place to see if they delivered to which they politely responded ‘yes’. I placed my order online shortly after. The food arrived within half an hour, piping hot and delicious! The pizza was tasty and garlic sauce to accompany was incredible! I think the staff have had a shake up since the previous reviews as the service I had was great and faultless.
