The restaurant had recently reopened, and I can honestly say that from the moment we entered until leaving the entire experience was nothing less than magnificent.
Attentive, well informed about the menu, engaging and courteous.
The food was delicious, really nothing to fault at all.

The George Townhouse
8 High St, Shipston-on-StourWe've been here a few times and liked it. Today unfortunately we had to send back one of our dishes as it wasn't cooked properly. Young lad that served us was hesitant to take it back. I had to say, my wife just won't eat that like that. When he came back with new wings we were told the chef said that's how they cook because of the brown meat. I have cooked wings many times at home and ate them in other places and they haven't been raw. We were disappointed. Wouldn't order again here.

Serving local ales and drinks. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

The Halford Bridge Inn
Fosse Way, Halford, Shipston-on-StourWe needed a one night stay in the Cotswolds and this place was perfect. The building has so much character, the staff were amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. Partner said it was the best butter chicken he's ever had. Will stay again!

The Black Horse Inn
Station Rd, Shipston-on-StourA very ‘locals’ pub as it is just a few minutes away from the main centre of town - but what a gem! Popped in for a quick pint and was made very welcome by the regulars at the bar. Ended up staying for some food and probably a couple of pints too many - and a new mate!
The food choice was wide but I only had a couple of the starters

2-4 Market Pl, Shipston-on-StourAwesome dinner in Shipston-on-Stour. The restaurant is lovely I had the lamb which was melt in the mouth cooked to perfection my wife had the fillet steak which was brilliant too. The banana soufflé was an absolute pillow of joy the perfect way to end a meal

Everyone agreed it was excellent and better than our Chinese back home. Generous portions. Reasonable priced. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Main St, Hunningham, Leamington SpaReally great food. Lovely garden to eat in. Lovely surroundings. Staff are great. They have gluten free options which is amazing! (Not sure I'd recommend the burger pizza though.)
