Was our privilege to eat at the Bower, gorgeous village setting and a very warm welcome on entrance. Cosy and Quirky. Had the Scallop Ravioli to start which was amazing, so dam tasty so much so I wanted to lick the dish out!! Lol. The roast Beef and my partner had the Belly Pork, both cooked perfectly to our taste with fantastic Yorkshire Puds and the Veg were gorg and the Cauliflower Cheese was so freshly made. In all the food, service and venue was a delight and will be booking a room for my partners birthday to soak up the calm village life with the joy of the Bower. Finally all the staff seemed so happy in their work and were praising the head Chef. Praise to him from us. Thank you Bower.

We had a lovely stay and meal at The Bower House. Staying in the rooftop room, it was spacious and stylishly decorated with interior touches which suited the character and style of the building. The facilities were great and restaurant delivered on fantastic food at fair prices given the high quality. The scallop ravioli starter was particularly memorable. Staff also very kindly posted back my partners jacket when he left it behind! Very pleased overall and would recommend for a lovely stay and dining experience

Fabulous boutique hotel and restaurant offering a marvellous dining experience and a fantastic breakfast selection. The rooms are outstanding for a luxury break with the best shower I've ever experienced. Paul looked after us from the off and was always attentive and courteous. I've only marked the location down to 4 because there's no on-site parking, but other than that, it can't be faulted. Well done, Bower House, and thanks for the lovely weekend.

Should be excellent, just not there. So close to being a really enjoyable meal. Decor is lovely, and food is very very tasty. Oh man, just a bit annoying as could be so much better. The bench chair was damaged, and it was cold where we were sat. The service was flustered and slow in parts, but main issue was main courses were barely warm. It tasted lovely, but must of been sitting somewhere for such a long time. A little annoying as should of been a better experience

Situated in the centre of Shipston, lots of free 2 hour parking in roads in the area, looks v smart from outside and inside, v friendly meet and greet, menu as listed online, we ate pate, cod in black garlic, bouillabaisse, followed by crumble. All v well presented, v tasty, large portions of staters and pud but sadly we thought the mains were a little measly, certainly not enough fish in the bouillabaisse. Also the restaurant was not very warm inside. So overall v good food but not sure we would revisit
Unser Abendessen war super! Das Essen war unglaublich lecker! Freue mich auf das nächste Besuch. We had such delicious food. Great choice of starters, mains and desserts :) Can‘t wait to eat here again. Food, service, ambiance 10 out of 10. Thank you team Bower House.

Oh my goodness! I don’t have a trip advisor account but I have logged on to give a review of this incredible hotel! Best in cotswolds. We are staying in the blue room and it has everything a family needs, comfortable beds (even the little pull out beds) complimentary homemade cookies and fruit, gorgeous tea bags and milk from local dairy farm. Wonderful and helpful staff. Tv with all channels, amazing location. Roll top bath, double me vanity sink. Really Hot water and incredible decor. This hotel really has thought of everything . So spacious too!

Attention to detail, Excellent! It's not very often I give a five star review, so this is very well deserved. First of all it's a lovely restaurant, excellent location, nice decor inside and lovely ambient music in the background. Four of us went for Sunday lunch, standard choices, beef, pork and chicken with a veggie option as well. After we had ordered we received freshly baked homemade bread along with salted butter, or a chilli garlic butter(very mild but nice). This was the first USP/attention to detail. The meals arrived not too long afterwards, all beautifully presented, so eating with our eyes before we'd even tasted it. The only negative was the Yorkshire puddings served with 'all' dishes not just the roast beef, seems unatural? But it's a very minor point. All dishes tasted lovely. Finished the meal with coffee and petit fours (which was another nice touch). On visiting the toilets they were clean and tidy with small individual cotton hand towels available to dry your hands, whilst listening to the voice of various Shakespearean actors reading from Shakespear plays ( I had Richard Burton) another lovely touch. So overall an excellent restaurant that is well worth a visit if you are in the area. Keep up the individual 'point of difference' It's how a restaurant should be run. Lovely staff as well by the way.

What an excellent place to stay. Absolutely gorgeous boutique rooms above a delightful restaurant. The staff were so attentive with added touch of addressing us by first names, small gesture, HUGE difference. We booked the family room as we had our two kids with us. It was perfect with a separate room for the kids. Couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The steak was to die for, as were the cocktails!
Lovely breakfast but background music is far to
