Casual meet up with two friends for lunch. Just perfect. Friendly relaxed atmosphere, staff with sense of humour but professional and efficient. One ‘naughty’ waitress managed to talk the three of us into a dessert when there was only one who was going to have one! Glad she did, all of the mains and the deserts were excellent. We had the liver and bacon and the chefs pie mains and three different deserts of toffee apple crumble, chocolate brownie and bread and butter pudding. It was all well presented, good portions, and tasted divine. I enjoyed the experience that much that I immediately booked to take my wife for Sunday Lunch 4 days later. For my part the liver was so tender with a beautiful sauce and the brownie was probably the best that I have had and I have had a few!

Had a fabulous first time here! Staff were brilliant, very friendly and welcoming. I had the nut roast which has to be the best I've had and it was homemade. Wide range of food to choose from! Beautiful setting and chilled. Great place to bring family. Definitely will be returning!

Not much to say really, everything was excellent. Waitresses were very polite & attentive, food was very nice (and piping hot) and good value for money. Enjoyable lunch in a really nice atmosphere, will definitely return.
