Noticed looked not to busy after walking from town which was busy on way back to hotel so decided call in , look very clean and a nice fresh smell to the place . Ordered a couple of 2 course meals which main arrived with not much wait , portions weren't huge but presentation was nice and quality was very good . Ordered a small glass of wine which i rarely drink @ nearly £7 a glass which i thought was quite expensive, other than that would recommend and the staff were very polite .

Absolutely lovely place, buzzing atmosphere. Food lovely, not skinny with the belly pork and melt in your mouth. Staff lovely, happy and fitted us in last minute as again we hadn't booked. Just my personal thought, and I hate saying it as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, is I don't think veg should come as a side order and extra charge, I do believe it should come as part of the meal. But that aside, lovely.

Have been waiting to visit here for ages, so were excited to book a dinner at last. The inside, whilst festive, is quite dated but didn’t mean the food would be. Although it was a little daunting seeing we were the youngest people in there by about 20-30 years which did make us wonder if the food would be reflective of this. Even though there was a varied menu which sounded good, our mushrooms on toast, pie of the day and cod special were a little disappointing. Nothing inedible, just lacking seasoning, a bit bland and not very memorable. We also had two large diet cokes and even though we sent them back once for being flat, we were told that large cokes just come out flat … end of conversation. Other then that communication, all staff were friendly and service was quick. There is obviously a loving and committed following of patrons who have been coming for years and enjoy the food, which is great. I just feel that it needs a bit of a decor and flavour uplift if wanting to keep up with a new younger clientele coming through.

My friend & I chose Turkey off specials board . Though not busy we had to wait over half an hour for food. Arrived barely warm. Vegetables were under cooked so difficult to eat & sausages were under cooked. We were not asked, as most restaurants usually do, if everything was ok!!!

Was so looking forward to our visit as had read good reviews and the menu looked very appealing with a nice selection. The staff were friendly and attentive. Ordered steak and chips. And that was exactly what I got. No mushrooms, tomatoes, onion rings or salad. Yes I had the option of a sauce which hadn’t got much taste. But my steak was very tough and at £29 for literally steak and a few chips I felt let down. The couple at the next table had exactly the same as us and you could see they were disappointed also as they left half of their dinner, just like I did. Maybe it was because they were very busy with Xmas and the Xmas market was on but I have honestly had better steaks at the Wetherspoons. Very disappointed.

Booked a table here for a sat lunch while visiting the Christmas market and it was lovely. Staff all very friendly and professional, lovely menu and every dish we ordered was great particularly the pork belly and the pesto gnocchi, both really tasty.

Edward Moon is my favorite restaurant in Stratford. The food is consistently delicious and the staff are absolutely lovely. Make sure you find out what the pie of the day is and make sure you leave room for dessert. I would recommend Edward moons for quiet lunches and celebrations. The staff will always do their best to make sure you have a great time.

Our meal was at 5pm. Beautiful seabass for 2 of the party and delicious pork for the other member. The service was very pleasant and efficient. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! My wife and I really enjoyed the food. Both meals cooked to perfection and the presentation was also excellent. Staff were also brilliant. So happy we chose this restaurant given the choice in Stratford Upon Avon is vast. Just like Arnie… we’ll be back.

We were a family party of 10 celebrating a 55th wedding anniversary. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. We had a terrific time and everyone enjoyed the evening. Would thoroughly recommend.

Was able to sit without a reservation, but time was limited. I knew this knowing that I would finish before they needed the table. Started with black pudding scotch egg. Good twist on this but the outer shell was so thin that when it was deep fried it was left a bit too crispy. Had the pork belly for main. The potatoes were good and the apple sauce was as flavourful, but most of the pork was dry. I really liked the pork crackling.

Luckily we had remembered it is always a bit chilly in the restaurant and had dressed accordingly. Good service from friendly staff. My prawn cocktail starter was completely lacking in any flavour, cheap prawns can be tasteless but there is no excuse for a runny flavourless marie rose sauce. The non pie did not live up to expectations, chicken, ham, leek and mushroom should have been full of flavour, the piece of pale insipid puff pastry plonked on the top of a bowl of food does not make it a pie. Courgette side was the best bit of the whole meal. Pear and Stilton salad ok, as was the hake. Not bad enough to complain but we won’t be returning.
