We last visited Stratford in October 2023 and we didn’t have the best experience. The Pub was univiting and very few customers in at the time. The Service and food received was cold. Fast forward just over a Year and me and my family decided to give it another go and I’m glad we did! Such a great place, I'd certainly recommend it if someone is visiting the town. I'd say you're missing out if you don't! The building and decor is fantastic and very well preserved and presented and the food was divine. I'd come back to town just for that duck leg..!

Great little pub. Food was lovely, me and my wife had pie and our 2 year old daughter particularly enjoyed the ice cream! However, to make this a 5 circle review it was the waiter (young chap with long ish hair), very very friendly and went out of his way. I also noticed how he was with a regular, remembering specifics of hers and probably a reason she comes a lot I imagine. Not many of him around, topped off a great lunch. Thank you.
