One of our party has a nut allergy and the waitress was very careful about checking what she could eat. Instead of the baklava on the mezze platter she was given a choice of all the other desserts at no extra

I recently dined at El Greco a charming family-run Greek restaurant, and it was nothing short of a delightful experience. The authenticity of the food was outstanding, making me feel as if i was in Greece myself . From the savory stuffed vine leaves to the perfectly grilled chicken olympia each dish was a masterpiece.What truly set this place apart, however, was the warmth of the staff. The family running the restaurant made us feel like cherished guests in their own home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to make you're experience as amazing as possibleThe ambiance was cozy, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to creating a welcoming environment. It's evident that passion and love go into every aspect of this establishment. If you're seeking a taste of Greece coupled with unparalleled hospitality, look no further. A definite 5 stars from me.

The venue is super but unfortunately the food let them down. I had moussaka which is a typical Greek dish & should have been perfect. It was the first dish to be delivered to our large party & was barely warm, practically cold in fact. I asked for it to be reheated. It arrived just about warm enough but still not acceptable but I left it at that. When I started to eat it much to my horror it had slices of potato rather than the thick slices of aubergine which is usual for this dish. The aubergine was barely noticeable there was so little. They were short staffed too which is why they only get a 3 star.

Nice, warm, welcoming atmosphere. Greek music playing from speakers in the background. The menu is quite traditional, catering for most. The service was friendly and relatively prompt considering big groups for birthdays etc the evening we went. The food was quite reasonable and pricing was reasonable. As a big foodie my only small thing was that the meatballs, although tastey, had been frozen. Which made the cooked meat quite solid. Other than that, we had a very good dining experience and are likely to return next time we are in the area.

Repeat visit. Great food and service. Cleanest toilet ive ever used in a restaurant. Nice place to eat. Very friendly service. Only thing that would help is to freshen up the menu choices. Have the same problem with my local Italian restaurant. Puts you off visiting it more often.

We went here for an evening meal. Atmosphere great.Service very good. We both had Kleftico we have this on a regular basis in Greek Restaurants first time visit to El Greco wouldn't have it again least vegetables we have ever had anywhere home or abroad.

Decided last minute to go out for something to eat on a Monday afternoon purely to give the car a decent run, so decided on Stratford upon Avon, did a quick search for local restaurants in the town and saw El Greco, hadn’t been to a greek restaurant before, and wasn’t disappointed!!We had the mezzes platter, wow!! So many dishes for stater and mains, and not one of them you could fault, all full of flavour, presented beautifully and the staff were happy and friendly.Wasn’t overly busy when we went (3pm) but must be popular due to reviews as more tables upstairs too.Will definitely be back and recommend it to any friends or customers that visit Stratford.

What a fantastic restaurant. Amazing service, it was our wedding anniversary which we told them in advance. When we arrived it was great to find an anniversary balloon attached to the table. Great selection of traditional Greek dishes on the menu. I would highly recommend the Metza which is a bit of almost everything. Well worth the visit

Our dining experience at El Greco Greek restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon was nothing short of amazing. The food was truly outstanding, and we relished every dish, with the tomato soup being a particular highlight. The flavors were a delightful journey through Greek cuisine.While the restaurant itself is fantastic, it's important to note that it's not dog-friendly. We had our little Chihuahua with us, and we had to sit outside, but the silver lining was the excellent service. The presence of a handy window nearby allowed us to call the staff whenever needed, so we never felt ignored while dining.Overall, our visit to El Greco was a genuinely pleasant experience, and the exceptional food and service made it memorable. Despite the minor hiccup of being unable to dine inside with our furry friend, I would undoubtedly return for another delicious Greek culinary adventure.
